SWAT Raid On Fullerton Students and Taxpayers

As the Fullerton Joint Union High School District struggles with drastic budget cuts that threaten to strip public education back to the three R’s, Fullerton SWAT and the Sunny Hills High School administrators decided that their students should spend the day playing “PARAMILITARY POLICE RAID” at the expense of Fullerton taxpayers.

The Orange County Register reports the students were given a 14 day window in which to expect 3 SWAT trucks and an unknown number of armored pseudo-soldiers to storm the campus in an attempt to replicate the fear and panic of an active shooter situation.Despite the unfortunate news of a real attack in another part of the country, the Fullerton SWAT team was unable to inspire the high school students into true hysteria. The event did give Officer Mike a chance to remind the students of the days’ lesson: if this was a real hostage situation, they should be curled up in the fetal position begging for their lives.

This unfortunate event came at a time when all school expenses and activities are under strict scrutiny due to $6.9 million in projected budget cutbacks. Somehow this waste-of-a-day just slipped past those watchful eyes at the district and the taxpayers are left pondering which public learning institution will be featured as the next simulated warzone.

  1. Simple solution:

The Fullerton school district needs the ADA money in order to maintain thier “income stream”, upon learning that there was a 14 day window in which my child would be subjected to this disgrace outlined as a “practice” I would pull my children for ALL 14 DAYS. This should teach the principal, and the Board of Ed. that this is NOT a tolerable situation.

By the way I noticed that the “Assault Rifles” have yellow tape showing they are empty. I was curious if the children were allowed to inspect each weapon themselves to ensure that when the muzzle of the weapon was POINTED at their head during this excersize that they were indeed “safe” from a potential accidental discarge.

    Somehow I don’t think that happened………

Oh, did the principal ask to do this either? How did he know he wasn’t putting his students in harms way? That is his job right?

  2. …and to add insult to injury, the “SWAT” team doesnt even seem to have very good skills at what they do….in the last picture above, several of the officers would have been shot dead as they stood high and plain as day in front of the windows of the classroom they planned to storm! I thought it was a “Simulation”. Needless to say after all this mess, the little confidence I had in our police force, of which I pay for, has been lost.

  3. It does appear that the officers in picture one are discussing whether to eat at Jalapenos or Esthers Taco House for lunch. It also appears that the officers in picture three are not dressed appropriately for a raid wearing jeans and construction boots. While not everyone may agree with the decision of the FPD to hold such a practice drill, I personally understand the need for a dress rehearsal in the unlikely event that the real deal ever did occur. The KGB used this tactic for years with much success and obtained free donuts at the same time.

  4. This is crazy! They should set up a short code so all the kids could directly communicate with the police via text message as they do that all day anyways! hahahaha

  5. before the 2008 crash, i was going to sell my house and finally escape from fullerton. but im stuck here for another 3 years. I hate fullerton and its weird fusion of provincial liberals and extremist republicans.

  6. Folks, this is a clear example that US government is up to no good.

Same as media would keep you in dark on the 2009 tax revolt in Fullerton, they are keeping you in dark on planed massive arrests and shipments to the concentration camps, which have been already built in the high desert, if you resist any government oppression.

It should be in your own best interest to be informed and to follow Alex Jones’ Prison Planet http://www.prisonplanet.com/ where you can inform yourself about what main media will not tell you.

  7. stanley, it would be a welcome relief to be arrested and transported to the high desert concentration camp.

  8. van get it da artiste, be careful what you pray for, wish for, think about, because it may happen and because you really were not specific and you didn’t think it through enough, you may be unhappy with what you get.

  9. Seems very reasonable what FPD and the FSD did. They gave a 14 day window, plenty of warning in my eyes, and performed a necessary practice run. How many of you would be whining the Police did not do enough to prepare when the real deal hits and some children were collateral damage. Get a grip Libs

  10. I COMMEND THE SWAT OFFICERS ON THE PRACTICE’S THEY PREFORMED. ALL OF THOSE WHOM OPPOSE, MUST NOT HAVE CHILDREN OF SCHOOL OR JUST DON’T CARE. THOSE PEOPLE ARE THE ONES THAT PANIC AND GO HISTERICAL WHEN THIS TYPE OF EVENT ACTUALLY HAPPENS, AND BY THE WAY WHO WOULD YOU CALL AT THAT TIME? AT LEAST YOU’LL BE COMFORTED TO KNOW NOW THAT THEY HAVE TRAINED ON HANDLING THESE SITUATIONS.
