Fullerton Is A Family Town!

Thus speaketh the frightened rabbits at the anti-recall website, a site so lame and amateurish that I will be regularly featuring its idiocy.

The operators of that site, Mssrs. Alexander, Ellis, Ackerman, and of course the Three Bind Dinosaurs are positively terrified of protesters wearing scary masks. Well, here’s another one, courtesy of our Friends at The OC Weekly.

Stop it kid, you're scaring poor old Bankhead, Jones and McKinley.

FYI, the Kelly Thomas Concert on Saturday was chock full of Fullerton families, including kids who were learning all sorts of positive lessons in humanity and citizenship.

The ironic thing is that the Three Blind Dinosaurs want you to forget the values they have established in Downtown Fullerton: drunken, brawling, lawless, fecal, condom-strewn, that’s DTF. Are these the “family values” being peddled by Bankhead, Jones, and McKinley? Guess so.

Well, old dudes, hope that fact doesn’t upset your lunch of Metamucil and oatmeal.

  1. Their emotional connection with city government will be difficult to break at first for the three of them but they will get used to sitting in the audience seats if they wish to participate in city government in the near future. Change is good. The genie is out of the bottle folks.

  2. I said it in another post.

Stick to the facts and not the BS politics if you really want this recall to succeed. I can tell you right now, ripping on them for being old and eating oatmeal will not make this recall successful. You have to remember a majority of your voters are old people that have been in this city forever. If they were to read stuff like this, they won’t read anymore and they will make up their mind right away how they are voting.

    Just sayin’ and being realistic.

    1. Oh, you’re so concerned about the well-being of the recall. Thanks so much.

Those three old geezers are completely out of touch with reality. They want to get nasty on admin. They ain’t seen nothing yet.

      1. Not concerned. Don’t care. I don’t think the city council has anything to do with the case.

They may be and are. I was questioning the ability to actually relay the message to the actual voters. Saying that he’s an old geezer, out of touch with reality, that takes poop meds and eats oatmeal, is probably not going to change the way that person voted before

        1. THAT,S RIGHT REALITY BULL -SHITER Dr. dick said the ITAILIAN ran GLV,TX. QUIET WELL. and like you he say,s one thing, then dose the other. In any PHD BOOK I read you BOTH are a psychopath looking for your next victim. To fool fool.DON,T BUST A NUT JUST YET.

      2. FYI – many old people are signing the recall petition. Their opinion is that these guys have been there too long. There’s a 90 year old lady who lives in a retirement home here in Fullerton that called to ask if someone could go to her home so she could sign the petition. No sale here.

    2. HEY REALITY! YOU STATED THE OTHER DAY YOU THOUGHT 9C1 WAS A LIAR, AND YOU WERE OUT TO PROVE THAT HE WAS. YOU ALSO STATED THAT YOU MET HIM ON SATURDAY, ARE YOU READY TO RECANT YOUR LIES AND SHAMEFULL BADGERING OF A GOOD COP?

      1. Did I call him a liar? I thought I questioned his claims of a law enforcement career and the extent? I didn’t say I met him. I said I saw him and heard him say his name. I got my answers.

        1. YES, YOU INSINUATED HE WAS NOT TELLING THE TRUTH IN YOUR VERY NUMEROUS POSTS THAT ATTACKED HIM. YOU OWE HIM AN APOLOGY!

        2. YOU GOT WHAT ANSWERS YOU PATHETIC MORON? YOU GOT HIS NAME IN YOUR COVERT, UNDERHANDED WAY. THAT’S ALL YOU GOT, BUT, YOU ASININECOWARD, YOU LIED ABOUT HIM, SO EITHER RETRACT YOUR LIES AND APOLOGIZE OE FOREVER BE KNOWN FOR WHAT YOU ARE, A BLOVIATING THUG!

    3. Just trying to bide our time……until the freak’in DA speaks!!!! Give us a break. There’s nothing new to talk about. Just our way of trying to keep busy. Tell the DA to give us somrthing else to talk about!

      1. Cindy, I heard radio about 1/2 hour ago that a “deep throat” is saying charges will be filed and that the main beater is none other than “uniball” Jay cicinelli

        1. Yeah, We pretty much knew that about Cincinelli. All I hope for is that none of them evade justice. Just like there are accomplices in “regular” murders that are charged the same as the actual murderer, I hope they are charged the same. Thanks for the update.

        2. CHARGES MAY BE FILED BUT FOUR OF THE SIX WILL NOT BE FOUND GUILTY, I ASSURE YOU THE FACTS ARE THE FACTS.

CHARGES ARE NOTHING, BEING PROSECUTED AND FOUND GUILTY OF A CRIME IS SOMETHING

          1. Who are you???? Standing by while a murder is being commited is no different than committing it. Everyone of them had the power to stop it and not a ONE did a thing except to insure it continued. The bystanders were protesting more than any of them! But that couldn’t stop them. They’re all going down!

        3. WOW CHARGES FILED, BUT LET’S SEE WHO AND HOW MANY ARE FOUND GUILTY… THE RESULTS ARE WILL BE SURPRISING

  3. Wouldn’t be nice if California were like Switzerland where the officers are cardboard cut-outs an the side of the street?

    1. LOL. The citizens there are scary enough. My first trip to Zurich had me lost and looking for a parking space. I thought I’d found a legitimate one, but the way the locals were looking at mi askance, I realized the space was not legal. No need for cops. I parked elsewhere.

We don’t need remotely the number of cops or laws we have in the US. Look at Flight 93 or the recent case of the motorcyclist having the car pulled off him by civilians. Pretty much they are historians at best – they don’t typically prevent stuff or catch bad guys in the act.

Obama’s jobs plans are always about hiring more union cops or “saving” their pathetic and overpriced jobs. Wonder why?

  4. Reality Is :
Not concerned. Don’t care. I don’t think the city council has anything to do with the case.
They may be and are. I was questioning the ability to actually relay the message to the actual voters. Saying that he’s an old geezer, out of touch with reality, that takes poop meds and eats oatmeal, is probably not going to change the way that person voted before

I hear ya, but i seriously doubt an ‘old person’ would decide to change their mind because they got offended by the truth and humor in this post.

I hope when I’m and old geezer my sense of humor is still intact as well as my willingness to stand up for what’s right.

    1. THE CITY HALL MORONS ARE PART AND PARCEL TO THE CORRUPTION IN THE PD. THEY ALLOWED THAT STATUS QUO TO CONTINUE, SO OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!

  5. I talked to an older woman at the concert on Sat who refused to ever look at this blog again because of something that was posted once that offended her.

But, she was VERY interested in lots of information I was telling her that she knew I picked up from reading this blog! The point is, she was offended, but she still wanted the TRUTH.

The most interesting thing she told me was her opinion that the recall will fail because “the people who live up in the hills just vote for whoever the mailer they get tells them to vote for.”

Made me think that we’ll need to put some effort into mailers come election season.

  6. Form the anti-recall:

“Fullerton is a peaceful family town. Let’s keep it that way and not let political grudges by an angry developer disrupt our city’s safety.”

    What they really mean:

“We have made a ton of money off the three blind mice. Let’s keep it that way and let not let our profits be disrupted. The hell with the city’s safety.”

  7. It would be a very good idea to market the recall effort to the older, wealthier folks up in their comfy estates on Melody Lane. Unfortunately the only news they get is what’s on TV or printed in their O.C. Register or L.A. Times; whichever is their choice. You will NOT find any of the truths about Fullerton City Council in those forms of media. A highly effective mailer would be one that sites all of the cover-up concerning the Kelly Thomas case from the BS spewing from Goodpitch and the BS spewing from Mayor Jones and McKinley. If these messages get conveyed to those elderly, up-in-the-hills Fullerton folk, in an effective manner, they will be willing to vote for ‘change’.

    1. You can forget the elderly Republicans. They are reassured by the Geriatric Trio.

As HeeHaw would say: those people look like me!

    2. Totally agree. The facts should shock them. Also, inform them of the cost of policing and maintaining the downtown Fullerton bar scene. Remind them on whose watch that scene was created and enabled.

    3. Totally agree with you wrong guy about the mailer to our older and wealthier neighbors all sread all over the city. However, I think that the mailer also needs to convey that we are by no means against all policeman, we just want to weed out dismiss the rogue and immoral police officers before they spoil the officers who are trying to stay honest and make good choices.
p.s. Very nice meeting you at the protest on Saturday.

  8. That website sucks, aside from their opinions, it is just a flat out cheap looking bad website lol. And really? All they can cling to is that the masks are scary so stop us? Yeah cause they can’t think of anything else for their defense.

    1. Yeah, even the Observer is trying to scare their readers with a picture on the front cover of a person wearing a “Guy Fawkes” anonymous mask. Real pathetic.

  9. The KT Memorial Concert was great! Lots of families all enjoying that which was taken violently from Kelly – LIFE.

My wife and kids had fun listening to the bands and sipping lemonade. It was also nice being able to donate warm clothes and know that they would make it to the sorry souls who will need them in a few weeks. GBKT

Also, it’s pretty sad when the liberal Observer sides with the so-called conservatives who have spent Fullerton into an $8-million deficit!

    1. Why do you say that? You don’t think they’re impartial? Seems like they just report the facts, so I’m curious why you say that.

  10. WRONG GUY,

The rich will never care what goes on with others below their economic status. Law enforcement knows them, and treats them differently, because they have money, and money talks!!

    1. “The rich will never care what goes on with others below their economic status. Law enforcement knows them, and treats them differently, because they have money, and money talks!!”

Class envy: So hip right now.

Let’s see, the second point is that it’s better in America to have money. Is this news? And the first is just total bullshit. I know a lot more middle class folks that could comfortably afford to really ‘care’ about others by putting their money and time where there mouth is, but don’t do shit for anybody. A lot more. On the other hand, just this morning I surfed Brooks St and saw Greg, the guy who owns the company that has made all the best Imax movies, picking up trash on the beach.

  11. what happned to the crowd shots?

from these pictures they make it look like no one was there but the bands and few random od-balls. pretty funny shit ocweekly, douchebags.

  12. Question: What Is the Just-World Hypothesis?
    Answer:

The just-world hypothesis is a term referring to people’s tendency to believe that the world is just and that people get what they deserve. Because people want to believe that the world is fair, they will look for ways to explain or rationalize away injustice – often by blaming the victim.

Those with this belief tend to think that when bad things happen to people, it is because these individuals are bad people or have done something to deserve their misfortune. Conversely, this belief also leads people to think that when good things happen to people it is because those individuals are good and deserving of their happy fortune.

    Examples of the Just-World Hypothesis

The classic example of this tendency is found in the Book of Job. In the text, Job suffers a series of terrible calamities and at one point, his former friend suggests that Job must have done something terrible to have deserved his misfortunes.

In one famous study, two stories about an interaction between a man and woman was described to participants. Both stories were identical in every way except for the final outcome. In one version of the story the woman is raped, while in the other version the man proposes marriage. In both versions of the story, participants directly linked the two drastically different outcomes to the woman’s actions.

There are a few different explanations that have been proposed to explain the just-world hypothesis. First is the idea that people have a need to believe in their own invulnerability. For example, people don’t like to think about themselves being the victims of a violent crime. So when they hear about an even such as an assault or a rape, they will blame the event on the behavior of the victim. By doing this, people can go on believing that they will never be the victim of such a crime because they will simply avoid these behaviors.

Another possible explanation for the just-world hypothesis is that people want to reduce the anxiety that is caused by injustices. Believing that the individual is completely responsible for their misfortune, people are able to go on believing that the world is fair and just.

If the belief in a just world simply resulted in humans feeling more comfortable with the universe and its capriciousness, it would not be a matter of great concern for ethicists or social scientists. But Lerner’s Just World Hypothesis, if correct, has significant social implications. The belief in a just world may undermine a commitment to justice.

Zick Rubin of Harvard University and Letitia Anne Peplau of UCLA have conducted surveys to examine the characteristics of people with strong beliefs in a just world. They found that people who have a strong tendency to believe in a just world also tend to be more religious, more authoritarian, more conservative, more likely to admire political leaders and existing social institutions, and more likely to have negative attitudes toward underprivileged groups. To a lesser but still significant degree, the believers in a just world tend to “feel less of a need to engage in activities to change society or to alleviate plight of social victims.”

Ironically, then, the belief in a just world may take the place of a genuine commitment to justice. For some people, it is simply easier to assume that forces beyond their control mete out justice. When that occurs, the result may be the abdication of personal responsibility, acquiescence in the face of suffering and misfortune, and indifference towards injustice. Taken to the extreme, indifference can result in the institutionalization of injustice. Still, the need to believe that the world is just can also be a positive force. The altruism of volunteers and of heroes who risk their lives to help strangers in need is a result of people trying to restore justice to insure that the world remains just. As Melvin Lerner writes, “We have persuasive evidence that people are strongly motivated by the desire to eliminate suffering of innocent victims.”

Neither science nor psychology has satisfactorily answered the question of why the need to view the world as just exerts such a powerful influence on human behavior and the human psyche. But the research suggests that humans have a need to bring their beliefs about what is right into conformity with the objective reality they encounter–and that they will work to achieve consistency either by modifying their beliefs or attempting to modify that reality. By becoming more conscious of our own tendencies, we may be more inclined to take the latter approach.

    1. Thanks for sharing blessusall,
I have lived long enough to KNOW the world is not fair.
I don’t know if that is because I have experienced evil and hatred firsthand or that I have seen enough people good and (not so good) suffer injustice or inequality.
The fact is there is evil in the world and no where is it more evident than when it comes face to face with the forces of good.
I remember a line in the movie; A Green Mile where the large man on death row (who was able to see in his mind’s eye) said the real killer; “killed them with their love”… the killer had told the little girls if one of them cries out out he would kill the other one. That way he was able to overcome them because they were protecting each other.

Real justice will prevail in the end for us all because there is a Judge and we will all stand before Him on that final day.

        1. I know how he feels sometimes. I often feel so discouraged by all of this ugliness. Poor Kelly Thomas. And poor all of us that this is what we live with. I have to tell you, though, that the people I see here on this blog who are champions for truth and justice impress me and I am inspired. It gives me some hope to know that there are still people who will step up, speak out, and get involved. I respect people who have the courage of their convictions. Please know that what you are doing is important and has meaning on a global level. I truly believe that. Bless you and bless us all.

      1. SO? WHAT WILL THE PIGGIES DO TO US? GET OUR NAMES? SO WHAT? IF YOU’RE NOT DOING ANYTHING ILLEGAL, WHO CARES IF THE COPS KNOW YOUR NAME? THEY MAY ALREADY KNOW IT, WHO CARES? WE KNOW THERE NAMES TOO!

      2. shit we don;t need name tags we just track your e-mails and postinhs via your ip address…….be careful

        1. WE HAVE YOUR NAME TAGS TOO ASSHOLE, JUST WAITING FOR THOSE CIVIL RIGHTS LAW SUITS TO COMMENCE AND WE WILL NAME EVERYONE OF YOU IDIOTS IN THAT LAW SUIT PUNITIVELY!

  13. WRONG GUY,

My dept. railroaded a friend of mine into jail, yet his brother is a millionaire dentist. Who do you think they treat better?

  14. A civilian over-site committee, with REAL teeth, would be a great asset to the city. They would be able to set punishments, or have great influence on them regarding on/off duty incidents. Right from the start, officers would be notified, and have to sign a form regarding such policy changes. A copy of this form would then go into their jackets.
Alcohol plays a significant role in law enforcement related incidents. If it were up to me, I would have all officers who have a drinking problem, voluntarily go into some sort of rehab. This treatment could be in-patient, or out-patient. From that time on though, penalties for alcohol related incidents would be harsh.
I would also prosecute all that are involved in domestic violence. This was a law that, at at it’s inception, was very effective in combatting a very pervasive problem. Now, more than not, it is pleaded down to a misdemeanor, which means the officer still is able to keep his weapon, and thus, enables those individuals to not only keep on the department, but keep on abusing.
As I said earlier, no dept. is perfect, and I know it is impossible to make it so. What I rail against, is the abuses of the law and individuals that is well known to upper management, and yet is ignored.
Having this civilian oversite committee, would ensure a better product out on the streets, and would also help curb actions that lead to lawsuits. IMHO
    RESPECTFULLY SUBMITTED

    1. Great suggestions 9c1copcar. How do we go about changing the rules so that civilian complaints are no longer treated only as “personnel issues” and the public is denied any access to any investigations or results of their complaints?

  15. WRONG GUY,

I LOVE law enforcement. It is very necessary. What FEDUP and I HATE, are those individuals that go outside of the law.

  16. JT,

If it were a big department, I would say you go downtown, and talk to a chief or commander as FEDUP and I did once.
With a small PD like Fullerton has, you have this circle-the-wagons mentality which is pervasive, and is almost impossible to crack. Only attorney action will help in those matters.

      1. great a lot of action but let;s see who is prosecuted and found guilty!! attorneys are worse hen any crooked cop thats for sure…attorneys are only money suckers

  17. I don’t believe it’s fair to attack the infamous three because of their age. HOWEVER, there comes a point in life — in everybody’s life — where one’s skills and effectiveness plateau and/or diminish. Doesn’t matter if you have 40 years of experience in public service, that’s not going to help.

Should there be a debate at some point, I’d like to ask McKinley, Jones, and Bankhead what tools, ideas, or skills they have left to turn the City around from its current state. This is going to require out-of-the-box thinking and some uncomfortable decisions. As it stands now, I don’t think those 3 have what it takes to govern effectively…

    1. Why not? Bankhead is evidently senile. Jones lost it years ago. McKinley has hardened arteries. Did any of these geriatric clowns reveal their ages when they ran. Hell, even Catholic bishops have to retire at 75 and Bankhead and Jones passed that years ago.

The only things that keeps them there are massive egos coupled with dementia. A bad combination. I’m 72 and can tell you that older people do NOT appreciate this clinging to self-importance when you have zero to offer.

I’ll be voting for the recall.

  18. MOST COPS NOWADAYS ARE ADDICTED TO SOMETHING, SEX, DRUGS, ALCOHOL, LYING, COMMITING PERJURY, ALL ADDICTIVE INFLUENCES THAT IMPACT THE POLICE ROLE IN SOCIETY!

    1. OH AND LET ME GUESS, YOU ARE CURRENTLY UNEMPLOYED OR EMPLOYED??

      YOUR CURRENT POSITION?

      YOUR CURRENT WAGES?

AND WHAT DOES YOUR CRIMINAL BACKGROUND AND/OR BASIC LIFE PROFILE CONSISTS OF??

EXACTLY, SO UNLESS YOU HAVE THE EDUCATION AND THE CREDENTIALS TO PROVE OTHERWISE, SAVE IT…

    1. YOU FORGOT TO LOOK AT YOUR PAST AS WELL AS LOOKING WHERE YOU ARE TODAY AS WELL AS WHERE YOU WILL BE GOING TOMORROW.

LET ME RUN A COMPLETE BACKGROUND AND CREDIT HISTORY OF YOU AS WELL AS REVIEWING ANY AND ALL MEDICAL RECORDS, THEN SEE WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY

  19. Who is the snipe that posted number 40? I am the only “wrong guy” around here, you emefer!!!
Don’t anyone think it was me who said, “no wonder u don’t like cops. I believe that was a Troll trying to ‘divide and conquer you and I, 9c1.

  20. Fedup and 9C- why dont you get a seminar together and teach us law challenged folk about penal codes, our rights, and such I would love that especially from knowlegable people with experiance, like yourselves- please?

      1. YOUR RIGHT, IT IS SAD ALL THE WAY AROUND AND UNFORTUNITELY NO ONE WILL BE A WINNER, BUT ALL SIX OFFICER’S WILL NOT BE FOUND GUILTY I ASSURE YOU, THE ONLY THING COMING IS A $$$$$ CHECK FOR HIS FAMILY AND THAT I DO NOT CONSIDER JUSTICE. REMEBER HE WAS COMMITING A CRIME AND HAD A RESTRAINING ORDER ON HIM FROM HIS OWN FAMILY DUE TO PRIOR VIOLENT BEHAVIOR.

JUSTICE WOULD OF BEEN HIM RECEIVING THE HELP AND OUTREACH HE IS RECEIVING NOW PRIOR TO HIS DEATH PREVENTING THIS INCIDENT FROM OCCURING IN THE FIRST PLACE

        1. Kelly Thomas committed no crime the night of his beating. Not even the FPD says otherwise. The FPD was responding to a call regarding suspected auto burglary, however, no one has come forward to show there was even one auto related crime, let alone one involving Kelly.

          1. HE COMMITTED A CRIME BY RESISTING AND THEN REQUIRED ADDITIONAL RESTRAINT BASED ON HIS BEHAVIOR….LOOK AT HIS PAST MEDICAL EVALUATION, VIOLENT BEHAVIOR AND THE RESTRAINING ORDER PLACED ON HIM BY HIS OWN FAMILY….

  21. MERIJOE,

I am no expert. I believe the best lessons are self-taught. I think it is retained better, but I would not mind such a venue. Let me talk it over with FEDUP.

  22. oh good-I will but there is always something you can learn from others -like that thing about not getting out of your car at a DUI checkpoint-I didnt know until 9c told me

      1. you dont do it, if asked to get ou and walk a line -its just a dui checkpoint so legally there is no probable cause for you to get out of your car at a dui checkpoint-just because its a dui checkpoint

  23. DIXIEJOHN,

I just read your blog. It would help them, but I am not scared or intimidated, If others are, I understand.

  24. ok, admin-my and alot of others are bing hijacked- for example the “fodder” comment is not mine, please check these out thanks- I believe wrong guy and fedup are being hijacked also

  25. The Fullerton ELK’s Lodge, is a perfect place to educate our senior residents. Must be handled with care. Let them know we have a few bad apples in the FPD.That some change is good for the City.

  26. Hey admin. Someone above posted this:”That explains a lot. I knew there was a reason you didn’t like cops!” It was 40 now 43. It was a divide and conquer attempt at me and Mr. 9c1copcar. Is there a way u can prevent their posts, since FFFF has my e-mail address? Just hoping.

  27. Now merijoe, you know darn well I, the real Wrong Guy would not tell you to suck it on a public blog, right? LOL. That really wasn’t me, just some sissyboy trolls.

  28. Ellis, is that Dave Ellis of Hart & Ellis (campaign consultants) that had all that legal trouble few years back. Just wondering……

  29. Wrong-dont worry-I know I know-pay no attention to anything negative or doesnt sound like me that you see-its not me saying it-

  30. So true FEDUP. By the way I went to my car during the concert to get pen and paper. On my way back I stopped for a carne asada plate, woofed that down and I couldn’t find you or 9c.

  31. The adults have left the blog. Only the teens are here now.pretend cops and angry peeps with no logic. Iike cat fighten itself in the mirror.

  32. “I take this oath freely, without any mental reservations or purpose of evasion”.
Very simple sentence. If you cannot abide by the oath taken, then get the hell out!!

  33. OKAY FOLK’S TIME FOR A REALITY CHECK!!

IT’S FUNNY HOW EVERYONE COMES OUT OF THE WOODWORK FOR KELLY THOMAS AFTER THIS INCIDENT OCCURED,

SO I ASK HOW COME HE DIDN’T RECEIVE SUCH SUPPORT FROM ALL OF YOU FELLOW FULLERTON RESIDENT’S WHILE HE WAS ALIVE???

I MEAN HIS FAMILY OBVIOUSLY DIDN’T CARE WHERE HE WAS OR WHERE HE SLEPT WHILE HE WAS ALIVE OR HIS GENERAL WELFARE AS THE PICTURES OF HIM BEING HOMELESS AND LOOKING AS IF HE HADN’T HAD A SHOWER IN WHO KNOWS HOW LONG.

I MEAN HIS FAMILY HAD A RESTRAINING ORDER ON HIM AND IF THEY DID ACTUALLY CARE THEN AS THERE SHOWING NOW THEN THEY COULDD OF MADE SURE THAT HE WAS REFERRED TO A SHELTER OR RECEIVED COUNTY MENTAL HELP

YES IT WAS A TRAGIC EVENT AND YES, A COUPLE OF THE OFFICER’S ACTIONS SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED TO SEE IF DEPT POLICY WAS VIOLATED.

BUT NOW THAT HE IS DEAD IT’S LIKE SUPERBOWL DAY AND THE RAMS WINNING BY 30 POINTS IN THE LAST TWO MINUTES, ALL OF A SUDDEN WHEN THE RAMS ARE DECLARED WINNERS, EVERYONE BECOMES A RAM FAN EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE NEVER FOLLOWED THE SPORT, BUT EVERYONE ELSE IS CELEBRATING, SO THEY WANT TO JUMP ON THE WAGON ALSO,////// AND NOW THAT KELLY THOMAS HAS DIED NDUE TO THE INCIDENT HE WAS INVOLVED IN THAT EVENING AND EVERYONE IS NOTICING $$$$$$ SIGNS FLOATING IN SPACE, WE ALL HAVE BECOME IMMEDIATE CITY COUNCIL MEETING ATTENDEES, SPONSORING EVENTS RAISING $$$ FOR THIS AND THAT,

WHY NOW WHERE WERE YOU ALL BEFORE THIS HJAPPENED?????

VERY INTERESTING!!! THE FUNNY THING IS HIS FATHER IS A BRETIRED LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER, OH AND DURING THAT ENTIRE CAREER HE NEVER WAS INVOLVED OR WITNESSED AND BOARDERLINE ACTIONS OR VIOLATIONS OF HIS DEPT POLICIES AND WASN’T INVOLVED IN ANY POSSIBLE QUESTIONABLE EVENTS????

I]M SURE HE WASN’T RUNNING TO HIS DEPT SUPERIORS BEING A RAT ON EVERY DEPT VIOLATION OR ANY QUESTIONABLE ACTIVITY HE MAY HAVE WITNESSED, SO AGAIN WHY NOW…

SO THE “TRUE CAUSE OF DEATH REPORT” WILL BE RELEASED SHORTLY ALONG WITH THE DA’S DECISION ON ANY CHARGES IF ANY THAT SHOULD BE FILED ON ANY OF THE SIX AND YES, I DO BELIEVE A CPL OFFICERS ACTIONS MAY NEED TO BE INVESTIGATED FURTHER, BUT CHARGES FILED ON ALL SIX, GIVE ME A BREAK…..

SO AGAIN WHERE WERE ALL OF YOU BEFORE THIS HAPPENED AND WHY DID HE HAVE TO RESORT TO CRIME TO MAKE HIS DAY TO DAY LIVING ….BECAUSE HE HAD NO SUPPORT FROM ANYONE, BUT NOW HE DOES>>>>>

    1. We were living our lives. Until the some hot shot cops, upset our apple cart. Stupid, Stupid, Stupid. Nothing brings a family together like a death. Kicked us right in the teeth. Opened our eyes. Tired of it. Fullerton is down but not out.

      1. Maybe 2 hot shot cops?? we will see based on final investigation and outcome of any and all court proceesings, I just would like all judgement and assumptions to be held until all facts, reports, and investigations have been completed,

    2. A COUPLE OF THE OFFICER’S ACTIONS SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED TO SEE IF DEPT POLICY WAS VIOLATED.

You mean the Department might have a policy about not beating an innocent man’s kull to pieces. No way, dude!

      1. U MEAN AN OFFICER APPROACHING AN IDIVIDUAL COMMITING A CRIME THEN REQUIRING BACK UP AND MORE BACK UP DUE TO HIS VIOLENT RESISTING ANDD BEHAVIOR,,,YEAH

    3. WHY DID HE HAVE TO RESORT TO CRIME TO MAKE HIS DAY TO DAY LIVING …

I’m confused. Are you referring to Cicinelli, Ramos, Blatney, Hampton, or Wolf? Please be more clear.

  34. The pitbull shooting was pretty much in my backyard. Sheriff’s Special Enforcement Bureau k-9 is responsible for that cluster fuck up! Never let them in your house or yard!

  35. WELL WE KNOW THAT A “TRUIE” CAUSE OF DEATH CAN ONLY BE DETERMINED BY AN AUTOPSY WHICH THE CORONER HAS OR WILL COMPLETE HERE SHORTLY AND AT WHICH TIME, THE TRU FACTS WELL BE RELEASED.

NOW AS FAR AS THE DISTRICT ATTORNEYS OFFICE, WELL THEY HAVE THE BALLS TO RELEASE THE RIGHT DECISION WHERE MAYBE A CPL OFFICER’S WILL BE CHARGED OR FURTHER INVESTIGATED OR WILL THEY JUST THROW ALL SIX UNDER THE BUS DUE TO BEING AFRAID OF A FEW RESTLESS NATIVES FROM FULLERTON AS WELL AS SOME WORRYING ABOUT THERE FUTURE POLITICAL CAREER.

I CAN “GUARANTEE” YOU ONE THING, IF CHARGES ARE FILED ON ALL SIX OFFICERS,
AT A MINIMUM FOUR OFFICERS WILL BE FOUND NOT GUILTY.

HERE ME NOW BELIEVE ME LATER…

    1. It’s actually not true that “a true cause of death can only be determined by an autopsy.” But I can understand the need to believe that legalese if someone has caused the death of another and is trying to avoid the consequences. The question would be if KT would still be alive if he had not been approached and beaten to a pulp with multiple broken bones, tases, internal bleeding, and brain damage,by police officers on that fatal evening? It is not a coincidence that, after being brutally beaten, he died.

      1. why was he originally contacted?
why did he not comply with instructions?
        Why did he resist?
why wasa restraining order issued for a family member?
WELL THE FACTS YOU LIST IN REGARDS ARE JUST ANOTHER COPY OF HIS FAMILYS ATTORNEY’S INTERPUTATION, SO WHY DON’T WE ALL JUST SIT BACK AND SEE WHAT THE OVERALL RESULTS ARE IN THE WAY OF THE CORONER, THE JURY’S RESULTS IN ANY CHARGES AND THEN WE CAN DECLARE WHO WAS RIGHT AND WRONG

        1. Man you’re spitting out the old crap from two months ago. None of the other cop-kissers even bother with those lies anymore.

Kelly was set-up, and then beaten. To. Death.

Those who can tell right from wrong can declare simple thruths. Those who can’t go to work for FPD.

        2. Why was he was originally contacted: for no reason besides sadistic sport of evil criminals in uniform

He did, in fact, comply with instructions–he was being verbally harassed and threatened while trying to comply, which he was having difficulty doing but did, and this went on for several long minutes; just that whole scene alone is distressing to me and is something that should have been addressed with some kind of disciplinary action even if that several minutes of harassment were all that happened that night. He also resisted because he had been threatened with harm and was afraid. He tried to run away.

I could write a book on the restraining order but I won’t. I can tell you, having worked in the mental health field for 25 years and with law enforcement, that the nature of schizophrenia, the disease itself, causes symptoms and disorganized thinking that lead to noncompliance with treatment and medications and a whole host problems–and I will not go into the long, long list of horrendous side effects of medications that help me to understand why some people don’t want to take the meds. In most places, as far as I know, law enforcement officers have the ability to order a person be transported to a hospital for observation/evaluation if there is reason to believe they are mentally impaired in some way (psychotic or suicidal for example) that represents a risk of harm to themselves or others. Where I live, it is called a “1013” after the form the LEO or a doctor or licensed therapist signs that the person requires evaluation for their own safety. For this reason, LEO’s can be an invaluable part of the treatment team or support network of mentally ill people and their families. Where I live, we are fortunate to have kind, compassionate LEOs who are trained in dealing with mentally ill and we often advise family members, who are desperately trying to help a loved one who because of the disorder cannot make reasonable and competent decisions for themselves to contact the police, go to the court and get a judge to sign a court order for eval (which will be carried out by a sheriff who will find the person and transport them to the ER will they will be evaluated and possibly admitted), or file a restraining order so that if they violate it, the LEO can be called and then “1013” them and bring them to the hospital where they can be helped. This can be the best thing that can happen for someone who is in a psychotic state and unable to understand their own impairment and need for treatment. A family member can’t make them go to the hospital, even an outpatient doctor or therapist can’t do that–the police officer or sheriff can legally take them into custody and take them to a hospital for evaluation and treatment. Even if a doctor signs a 1013, it will still be a LEO who does the transporting. These LEOs are good people who work in a capacity to protect and serve even mentally ill people whose thoughts and judgment are impaired and whose safety is therefore compromised. We think of LE as partners with the family, medical and psychiatric providers in providing help and support to these very vulnerable people. I understand even more now how fortunate we are to have the kind and compassionate officers we have in my town, which is actually is not exactly a progressive place. Like many places, there is a paucity of services available to people with severe mental illness that renders them incapable of working or holding down a job in order to care for themselves. Services for someone who is severely mental ill with very little financial resources are extremely limited and getting more so in the current economic climate of our nation.
Anyway, we have a continuum of care among treatment providers, including inpatient and outpatient settings, that also includes law enforcement. I intend to be even more verbally appreciative of these men and women when I see them because I know that they treat the mentally ill people in our community with the dignity and respect that they deserve.

I can add that there are ways to de-escalate and even restrain an out of control psychotic person (which Kelly was not when he was attacked and murdered) that do not require weapons or use of force in any way. Our staff at the hospital and our LEOs have been trained in these techniques that are effective. We very rarely use restraints or put our hands on a patient in any way, and, in fact for the most part are not allowed to do so; if someone is so out of control that they must be restrained or even in defense if a staff person is being threatened, we know how to do this in a way that minimizes the possibility of physical harm to anyone, including staff and other patients. It’s really not that hard and it is very effective, and, again, because we are trained in de-escalation, we rarely have to use physical techniques.

I am grateful that our law enforcement here do not have the kind of attitude toward mentally ill/homeless people that apparently exists in other communities. I will more consciously express my sincere gratitude to these men and women from now on.

          1. HAVING BEEN A COURT ADVOCATE FOR A BATTERED WOMAN SHELTER, I CAN TELL YOU A RESTRAINING ORDER IS GOOD IF YOU HAVE DECENT COPS WHO RESPOND TO A VIOLATION CALL FOR SERVICE. MOST OF THE TIME THESE ASSHOLES BLOW IT OFF! ANNNNNND,,,,,SOMEONE ENDS UP DEAD!

          2. fedupwithmorons :
HAVING BEEN A COURT ADVOCATE FOR A BATTERED WOMAN SHELTER, I CAN TELL YOU A RESTRAINING ORDER IS GOOD IF YOU HAVE DECENT COPS WHO RESPOND TO A VIOLATION CALL FOR SERVICE. MOST OF THE TIME THESE ASSHOLES BLOW IT OFF! ANNNNNND,,,,,SOMEONE ENDS UP DEAD!

Yes, for battered women a restraining order that is enforced can save their lives. I wanted to address the issue about Thomas family having a restraining order so that those who don’t know can have a better understanding that it is one of the few avenues available to families to help their loved ones get help and they are often advised by mental health professionals to involve LE in this way because LE has the legal authority to 1013 to the hospital for evaluation/treatment. It is not something that families enjoy doing and it does not even mean that they have animosity for their family member who is impaired. I would like to see out of this whole thing that LE in Orange County could receive training in how to interact with people with mental illness in a way that is not contemptuous but compassionate, not threatening but supportive. They can learn to de-escalate and also safe restraint techniques that are effective but don’t require force. It would be nice if they could have some education about the nature of mental illness itself but that’s probably unrealistic. I can tell you that, as someone who has had cancer and knows firsthand the havoc in can wreak on your body, your psyche, and your life and the fears it creates about your future, if I had to choose cancer or a thought disorder like schizophrenia, I would choose cancer. I hate what that disease takes from people and what it does to them. And it is not because they chose it or because of something they did or did not do or that their parents did or did not do.

  36. What would happen to me if cops, swat or any LE barged into my house and I along with a friend or two shot em all in the head? Would the ‘I was in fear for my life plea’ get me off the hook?

  37. …there is going to be yet another young man that will be coming forward soon to detail his own horrific experience at the hands of the Fullerton PD. His story is eerily similar to Kelly’s and others who have come forward (:”stop resisting”when none is being offered/head smashed into curb/driven around town in handcuffs while the officers perform “brake checks” and laugh at his discomfort)
I personally found him to be very credible and have encouraged him to come forward to prevent these psychopaths from doing further harm to other innocent people.

    1. YEAH OKAY, JUST LIKE WHEN A SOUP KITCHEN OPENS, ALL OF A SUDDEN THERE ARE PEOPLE COMING FROM ALL ENDS ADVISING THEY ARE HOMELES AND SO FORTH TO BE ABLE TO GET THAT FREE MEAL, SO AS i HAVE SAID ALREADY LET CHARGES BE FILED, CIVIL LAWSUITS BE FILED AND THEN ONCE EVRYTHING IS SAID AND DONE LET’S SEE WHO IF ANYONE HAS BEEN FOUND GUILTY OF A CRIME

      1. We’re not waiting for anything. We’re going to recall those three blind chimpanzees who have tried to ruin OUR city.

      1. Calls were made within minutes. I’m in this because I sincerely want to clean our town up, and make Fullerton safe again for all of my children, as well as your children too.

  38. Just saw a guy a Saturday night ago peeing on to the side of a building in public downtown. What happened to the four cops who are supposed to be patrolling this area? And just how does a gang tag end up on the window of the empty print shop right next door to police headquarters?

    1. ARE YOU SERIOUS!!! TELL ME WHY WHAT YOU JUST DESCRIBED HAPPENDS IN EVERY CITY DAILY AND WHY DIDN’T YOU CONTACT POLICE DISPATCH AND REPORT SUCH ACTIVITY THAT YOU OBSERVIED AS WELL AS OFFERING FURTHER INFORMATION TO THE LOCATION OF WHERE THIS INDIVIDUAL COULD BE FOUND….

      LAUGHING MY ASS OFF

      1. because, if you call the FPD, they DON’T show up.cause they are yacking at the donut shop, or the Slide Bar take you pick.

      2. He was on the corner of Commonwealth and Pomona, and yes, I see this frequently in Downtown Fullerton. I don’t care if other cities have this problem or not, the fact is that several years ago the city council hired four additional police officers for the explicit purpose of patrolling the downtown to control this sort of behavior. I would like to know why they are not effective in doing so.

        1. I want to know which bars are serving these people to the point of such excessive drunkeness that there wondering around urinating in public and then getting into their cars and driving home drunk? The Fullerton police really need to start finding out the originating bar that these drunks are coming from, and start holding them accountable and responsible for the damages that their patrons cause or start taking away their liquor licenses. These bars with their constant happy hours and encouragement of excessive drinking, are ruining our beautiful town and we as residents are paying for it by shouldering all of the burdens that these drunks incur.

        2. then i guess you should attend the next city council mtg and ask your question there

  39. OBVIOUSLY YOU NEED TO GET A LIFE LOSER SO GET OFF THE BUS DEPOT BENCH AND BE SOMETHING. YEAH EVERY CROP HAS A FEW BAD SEEDS, BUT NOW YOUR GONNA STATE THAT YOU HATE ALL COPS?? THERE IS OBVIOUSLY A REASON AND IT’S BEWCAUSE OF YOUR PAST, PRESENT AND CURRENT LIVIING, SO SAVE THE COMMENTS THAT JUST ARE IMMATURE

    1. Hi Wrong Guy,
I’m not sure where these guys pulled the year 1998 from? This young man who appeared to be in his early 20’s and he said that it happened here in Fullerton within the past year. He had tried to resolve the matter internally, however he reported that the evidence that the police had had recently come up missing and the Fullerton PD began stonewalling him since. I know that this young man takes care of his mother and his grandmother and is very soft spoken, and the sort of kid who looks like he’s never caused an ounce of trouble in his life. When he started relating what happened to him at the hands of the FPD I could see that he was visibly shaken and extremely frustrated with the stonewalling that he was receiving because he was trying to resolve this himself, and felt that the police were playing him and covering it all up.

      1. RON THOMAS WANTS TO KNOW ABOUT ALL CASES OF THESE CREEPCAKES AND THEIR ACTIVITIES. GO TO THE PROTEST AND GIVE HIM THE 411.

    1. I AGREE, AND YEAH HE HAS BEEN IN A COMA SINCE 1998 AND SAVAGE WAS THE MEDICAL EXAMINER THAT REVIVED HIM…LOL

    2. no coma. this young man’s incident was within the last year, and he said that he had labored mightily to rectify the problem by himself sans attorney involvement.

  40. YEAH 1998, NO CREDIBILITY AND SHOWS JUST LOOKING TO RIDE ON SOMEONE ELSES SHIRT TAILS, HE WILL NOT FIND AN ATTORNEY AND IF HE DOES, HE WILL NOT GAIN ANYTHING EXCEPT A HEADACHE FROM ALL HIS WASTED TIME.

  41. The entry above was not written by me, The Fullerton Savage who blogs for this site. Get your own cheap pseudonym please.

  42. REALITY CHECK :

You are a clueless moron. And pretty disgusting as well.

  43. WHO AM i, SOMEONE THAT IS REALISTIC AND LETTING YOU KNOW THAT FOUR OF THEM WELL NOT BE FOUND GUILTY, BASED ON THE FACTS, WHAT ARE U BASING YOUR STATEMENT ON ….
    EXACTLY

  44. WHO AM i, SOMEONE THAT IS REALISTIC AND LETTING YOU KNOW THAT FOUR OF THEM WELL NOT BE FOUND GUILTY,

    1. That seems to be the Party Line. I heard McKinley say it weeks ago. But the DA has said they’re all in it together. One sings five go down.

  45. WHO AM I??? ROFL!! I AM A SCUMBAG !! ONLY HERE TO RILE YOU ALL UP !! IS IT WORKING???

    1. rile you up nothing, you need to face reality and the truth and not only see what you want to see and believe only what you believe….we well let the end results speak for themselves

  46. Tony, Travis, Chris… I wonder what will happen next, by that I mean the DA will be announcing soon one way or another and what will you do then?

Tony, I wonder If you really are concerned for the citizens of Fullerton and for the Thomas family, or if you are just using people as you always do.

Travis are you still threatening the police families in the middle of the night?

And Chris are you still trying to get in good graces with Tony so will do his bidding no matter how stupid it makes you look?

My time on this blog is over, can’t take much more of the idiocy spouted by the likes of people who have to foul and vulger language to attempt to get a point across.

    1. I’m wondering if HeeHaw will pitch an aneurysm tonight; I’m wondering if Bankhead will remember where he hid his chocolate pudding; I’ wondering if McPension will decide to give his first wife more of his pension like a good little cop.

  47. I was shocked to learn that sitting on a bus stop bench is considered “a violent crime” in Fullerton, CA. Actually, that it is even considered a crime at all is unbelievable. I also am surprised to know that “resisting arrest” is punishable by death, especially considering the original crime was–sitting at a bus stop.

Seeing the posts of some of the police officers here only confirms the victim blaming philosophy they live by, which is often a coverup used by shamed-based and/or guilty people. Regardless of KT’s parents actions before or after his death, the issue at hand is that he was beaten to death. It doesn’t matter whether his family cared for him or not or whether they “have dollar signs in their eyes now.” Casting aspersions on them and on KT is simply a strategy to fog the issue and take the focus off the perpetrators who killed him. This is a defensive tactic used by guilty people and their defenders all the time.

    1. YEAH HE SAT THERE ON THE BUS STOP AND FULLY COOPERATED WITH THE POLICE THEN THEY DECIDED TO BEAT HIM TO DEATH SINCE THERE WAS NOTHING ELSE TO DO….THERE WAS A CAUSE AND AN EFFECT THAT MADE THE OFFICER’S RESPOND THE NWAY THEY DID AND DON’T BE SHOCKED WHEN THE CORONERS REPORT IS RELEASED AND HIS CURRENT AND FORMER MEDICAL ISSUES TAKING A BIG PART OF THE END RESULT…BUT WE CAN’T SPECULATE, LET’S WAIT AND SEE

      1. Having read some of the comments here, I am now convinced that KT was the victim of a hate crime at the hands of the police, unfortunately. Anyone who would express venomous anger at the thought that someone would pretend to be homeless in order to get “a free meal” at a soup kitchen really has some deep seated emotional issues and possibly a lack of education. I doubt there is a huge number of people who pretend to be homeless to get a free meal at a soup kitchen, but even if there were, who cares? If it’s that important to them to go to those lengths, give them the meal. Also the disparaging remarks about homeless people, referring to someone as a “homeless c**ksucker” only further proves the hate crime angle. Administrators, you should keep these comments and if you have the ability to look up IP addresses, they may further serve to prove what KT was actually up against.

Actually, I am in fact educated with an advanced degree. Interestingly, I recently saw that several prestigious agencies that rank states on a number of different measures has ranked California as the 3rd least educated state in America. I must say that I was skeptical at first, but after reading some of these comments, I am convinced that it is true.

There are ways to de-escalate and restrain a violent and out of control psychotic person that do not require the use of any weapon or excessive force whatsoever. I have, in fact, used these techniques successfully. The fact that six police officers had to beat a man to death because he was “resisting arrest” only further proves they are incompetent. Seriously incompetent and also seriously impaired, probably for a number of reasons.

My sense is that many of the people who have been active with FFFF were active long before KT was killed and my impression is that they have been champions for justice; they do not appear to be suddenly coming out of the woodwork. In fact, this is what makes the FPD and Fullerton government look so bad–people have been raising concerns for a long time and it took the actual brutal and fatal beating of KT to finally begin to get some response from government officials. Furthermore, it appears that the response is completely defensive in nature rather than out of concern for their citizens and for the law. My guess is that if not for the fact that people are keeping this in the public eye so that the whole world can see what is happening there, it would simply have been swept under the rug. So I would commend FFFF, Ron Thomas, his attorney, and the press for continuing to keep this in the public eye.

        1. I also believe the eyewitness account that the police officer threatened KT with physical harm to elicit his response, was that he ran away. This looks like a practiced technique by the police to instigate a “resisting arrest” case so that they can then (1) one have a reason to arrest, and (2) use force to arrest. I suspect there are problems with lack of probable cause and illegal search in this case. I believe KT ran away because he had reason to fear the police officers, and the fact that he was subsequently beaten to death only proves that he had very good reason to fear them.

        2. Cop’s lawyer: ‘No crime’ in Kelly Thomas case

          I LOVE ATTORNEY’S………

      2. Well, yes, that’s exactly what happened.

THE CORONER AND DISTRICT ATTORNEYS INVESTIGATION RESULTS :
YEAH HE SAT THERE ON THE BUS STOP AND FULLY COOPERATED WITH THE POLICE THEN THEY DECIDED TO BEAT HIM TO DEATH SINCE THERE WAS NOTHING ELSE TO DO

  48. I WANT TO KNOW WHY THE CHP ISN’T PATROLLING THESE BARS GETTING DRINK COPS OFF THE STREETS? HELL, THE CHP WRITES THEIR OWN MOTHER’S CITES!

      1. DER, DUMBASS, HIGHWAY PATROL ARE STATE TRAFFIC OFFICERS AND CAN ENFORCE THE LAW ANYWHERE IN THE STATE, THAT MEANS THE LIL OL STREETS OF FULLERTON TOO!

        1. Ah duh I know that. City cops can on freeways as well. CHP doesn’t patrol city streets on a normal daily basis. Get a clue. 🙂

          1. DUMBASS, YES THEY DO, IT’S CALLED PATROLLING STREETS IN UNICORPORATED AREAS OF CITIES, THEY PATROL BEACH BLVD., IMPERIAL HWY, LAKEWOOD BLVD. ALL OF THESE “STREETS” RUN THROUGH CITIES DUMBASS!

          2. LOL of course. Now you throw in random info. You asked about Fullerton not unincorporated areas. Standard move for you.

          3. I THINK THE CITIZENS OF FULLERTON SHOULD REQUEST THE HIGH WAY PATROL COME IN AND START WRAPPING UP THESE DRUNK AZZ COPS OUT OF THE SLIMEBAR AND THEIR OTHER HANGOUTS!

          4. YOU ARE A REAL IDIOT, NOT TO MENTION AN ARROGANT ASSHOLE, NOTHING I WROTE, WAS IN THE LEAST RANDOM, AND IT CERTAINLY IS NOT FOR YOUR EDIFICATION. YOUR OPINION IS RANDOM AND WORTHLESS, CALL OBAMBAM? HE IS A NAZI THUG UNLIKE YOURSELF!

  49. I KNOW FROM WHAT I CAN TELL ABOUT FPD’S COMPLAINT PROCESS, IS THEY DON’T HAVE ONE, AND THE THING IMPERSONATING A COMPLAINT INTAKE SYSTEM AND INVESTIGATION OF THOSE COMPLAINTS IS BROKEN. FPD NEEDS A FEDERAL CONSENT DECREE!

  50. Anon. with the advanced degree!

I hope you are just blowin’ smoke. You said a study revealed that California is ranked third least educated in America? And you with an advanved degree can’t figure that out? How many illegals do we have living here? Why do you think we are ranked third least educated? I can’t believe you actually put that in print. With that mentality I don’t even want to read the rest of your blog.

    1. I knew someone was going to go there about “illegals” although I wonder what you define “illegals.” Just the use of that term suggests a racist point of view which is consistent with what appears to be the attitude toward minorities and underpriveleged groups in Fullerton by it’s law enforcement and city government. Even my daughter, at a young age, when hearing someone refer to a person who appeared to be of Mexican decent an “illegal” asked how they can look at someone and tell if they are in this country legally or illegally. But then, my daughter at age four is turning out to be much more insightful than many of the apparent adult posters here. Furthermore, the measures used to make this rating were complex and having a high immigrant population would not account for the fact that, for example, California only recently determined that they should consider teaching Algebra to 8th graders, which is standard practice in the majority of the United States. The curricula provided by California to school-aged children is not determined by the racial/economic makeup of the schools. Apparently California curriculum has been subpar for decades. Another criticism was that the California Department of Education had also basically inflated their numbers in terms of academic success of its students to create the appearance that the are achieving at a higher level than they actually are rather than just address the issue. Furthermore, California ranked lower than 47 other states, many of which have a higher immigrant population for whom English a second language. Although I don’t think the issue with KT should be about political parties, it is interesting to note that the states that were rated the most educated were states that are considered “blue” states, although California was one of the outliers in that regard. Refer to the post #50 by blessusall for a possible explanation for that.

The good news is that there do appear to be some intelligent and responsible citizens in Fullerton who are socially conscious champions for justice. Remember a basic tenet of American culture is that “we hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men (people) are created equal.” (For those that don’t know, that would include poor, homeless, mentally ill, “illegal”, black and white, male and female, American and non-American people).

      1. I will add that the only reason I mentioned having an advanced degree was in response to “The Coroner and District Attorneys Investigation Results” as follows: OH AND LET ME GUESS, YOU ARE CURRENTLY UNEMPLOYED OR EMPLOYED??

        YOUR CURRENT POSITION?

        YOUR CURRENT WAGES?

AND WHAT DOES YOUR CRIMINAL BACKGROUND AND/OR BASIC LIFE PROFILE CONSISTS OF??

EXACTLY, SO UNLESS YOU HAVE THE EDUCATION AND THE CREDENTIALS TO PROVE OTHERWISE, SAVE IT…

        1. BEST SUGGESTION, DON’T DEFEND YOURSELF TO THOSE SORTS OF BRAINDEAD QUESTIONS, IT’S NONE OF THEIR FREAKING BIZ!

      2. FIRST OF ALL, KELLY’S CASE IS POLITICAL. ONLY BECAUSE OF THE TROGLODITES RUNNING THE CITY.
ISSUE TWO, THERE IS NOTHING RACIAL ABOUT KELLY’S CASE, EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THERE WAS DISCRIMINATION AGAINST A MENTALLY HANDICAPPED MAN.

FOR OTHER CLARIFICATION, HISPANICS ARE NOT A RACE OF PEOPLE, THEY ARE AN ETHNIC GROUP, LIKE IRISH, GERMAN, ITALIANS AND SO ON.
ILLEGAL’S CONSTITUTE THOSE ETHNIC GROUPS WHO ILLEGALLY ENTER THIS COUNTRY WITHOUT PROCESSING THROUGH THE SYSTEM LIKE OUR ANCESTORS DID.
THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A COUNTRY OF LAWS, IF IMMIGRATION LAWS AREN’T SUPPOSED TO BE ENFORCED, THERE IS NO PURPOSE IN GETTING BUTTNUTS OVER KELLY’S CASE. LAWS MEAN NOTHING IF THEY ARE GOING TO BE SUBVERTED.

    1. YOU, DIRTY DOUCHE NOZZLE, THAT THE BEST YOU CAN RESPOND WITH? THE ONLY “PROVEN” LIAR ON THESE BOARDS IS YOU!

    2. XER, REALITY HAS PROVEN HIMSELF TO BE JUST WHAT HE IS…..A LYING COWARDLY ASSHAT!
DON’T EXPECT AN APOLOGY OUT OF SOMEONE CONDONING THE BEATING TO DEATH OF AN INNOCENT MAN!
