Dick Jones Strikes Again. Did He Just Say What I Thought He Said?

I just re-discovered this fabulous gem from February and thought it would be a timely reminder of the caliber of the Three Bald Tires and their Reign of Error.

– Joe Sipowicz

Ah! The gift that keeps giving: the cornpone brayings of crazy old Doc Jones, guaranteed to embarrass everybody in the room. Here’s a fun clip from last night:

This is the loud-mouthed buffoon the anti-recall crowd is defending as an experienced, honorable statesman.

Looks like Dick stepped on his own Jones. Again.

Well, we’ve been listening to this rude, bullying, bloviator for fifteen years and watched as he pushed around people who were afraid to push back. The times they are a-changin.’

  1. yet again, unbelievable.

and why in the hell isn’t the freaking Mayor slapping the biggest wienie for saying that? truth is stranger than fiction

what a giant cluster eff this city is.

Bruce is the only person on that council looking out for us. period.

    1. Hee Haw is the embodiment of long term weenie consumption and the poster child for the 50 year anniversary of the so cal phenomenon of eating reconstituted bovine carcinmoa and other mammalian entrails. Late last night way past his bed time, his liver began to attempt to mitigate the elevated nitrite and sodium erythorbate levels in his blood from his dinner of weenies. This, combined with the caffeine or even possibly the pentoxifylline induced inhibition of phosphodiesterase resulted in an increase of the poor soul’s adrenaline production. As a result before your very eyes, you have the JACK ASS STEPPING ON HIS OWN WEENIE. Such theater is priceless.

  2. Good grief! What an idiot – will he ever learn? It appears not. Thank goodness for the recall. We can’t continue to have such a bozo representing Fullerton.

  3. Unbelievable. I don’t care what back-road hootenany podunk corner of rural god-knows-where you come from, any idiot knows better than to say something like that in a public forum.

    1. I apologize on behalf of the state of Texas. PLEASE don’t hold the rest of us responsible for that a$$! There are lots of compassionate educated Texans who would NOT berate concerned citizens in that manner.

Ps. Texas does NOT want that guy back either. If you need to send him somewhere, perhaps try Alaska?

        1. That’s not fair. It’s not like I hold the State of California or the majority of Californians culpable for Reaganomics, or bad one-liner action movies!!!!!

          1. Ronnie Reagan was from Illinois.

However you may hold us all accountable for Tricky Dick Nixon. And Tricky Dick Ackerman, too, I guess.

            1. Hardly, my entire point is that I would not hold an innocent population accountable for a handful of morons. Sometimes I read all the insults / comments about people in Texas and I just want to hold up a white flag and say “Hey, it’s not us!!!”

              1. Sure it is. WE create these political monsters and we should be held accountable for them.

Just lie the people of Fullerton are responsible for creating and cultivating the political career of Jones, Bankhead and McKinley. I include myself in this. Fortunately we have a chance this spring to rectify the problem we helped create.

The trick is not to take it personally.

                1. I’m not trying to hijack this blog but I think your comment is interesting. I don’t quite agree with your statement that “WE” create these political monsters. As I watched the entire 6.5 hour meeting archive today I noticed how offensive each of the three dinosaur’s were to the general will of the public. It seems that their values were not created by the people who voted them into office. I assert that Bankhead, McKinnley, and Jones were monsters before they were elected into office. Their policies and comments are just representative of their flawed characters / personalities. Yes, they were voted into office by the people of Fullerton but I would attribute lobbyists and unions as being more corrosive to their overall careers than the individual voters. I’d welcome your opinion on that. Also, is there any news on replacement canditates for these three?

  4. The mayor had better learn how to control her meeting. Jones was not only vulgar, he was completely out of order and should have been told by Quirky-Quirk to shut up.

    1. Sharon SSSSSSSilva isn’t going to do ANYTHING to help this city, she is going to slide down the middle road if it rubs her slithering belly raw. She showed more of her colors than the rest did last night, if you want to know the truth. We already knew how corrupt they are, Bruce stepped up on more than one occasion and SSSSSSharon just bangs the gavel telling people to shut up and sit down.

      1. “SSSSSSharon just bangs the gavel telling people to shut up and sit down.”

She’s a teacher. She prides herself in crowd control, just like my 4th grade teacher.

    2. I’ll have to look at the archive later but she had a woman kicked out when Don Bankhead made a false accusation against someone at Bob’s towing.

      1. Yes, I just watched it in the archive. Why was Bankhead allowed to make that accusation in the first place. Why would he stand for such an obviously biased report by the FPD? I don’t understand.

      2. I was watching the meeting from home but it sounded like she gave the person several warnings first.

Bankhead is an idiot. Should we send him a note of thanks for helping us recall him?

        1. she gave the person several warnings first

That is the problem. The 3 blind mice can sit there and taunt the audience while she says nothing but if audience dares respond she gives several warning before throwing them out.

  5. I’m literally getting through the last of the meeting’s video right now. I empathize with the citizens of Fullerton’s frustration with their elected council members. Bankhead’s response to the obviously biased FPD report really irritated me. Then, I became outright angry at McKinnley’s response or retorts against Bob’s towing. Really?!?!?! Wow, this guy really supports police corruption at every level. I feel for the citizens of Fullerton. I just have a question: Was Jones saying that McKinnley was stepping on his own weenie with his stupid inflammatory comments, or was he referring to someone in the audience?

  6. Quirk told someone in the audience “we are not going to start yelling, please sit down”. What she should have said is “Councilman Jones, you need to apologize immediately for your comment”. They may have let her have the Mayor’s seat for a term, but the Three Stooges are obviously still in charge of the circus.

        1. Yeah, I dare you next time to blatantly say “short & curlies” in a public comment and see how long it takes Mayor Quirk-Silva to have you booted out by the FPD. Why does Jones get to stay when he talks like that? More importantly why does she still continue to refer to him as Dr. Jones afterward. Real doctors don’t talk like that!

          1. I think someone should make a comment about Dick’s short weenie next meeting and see how fast commander silva has the speaker booted out.

    1. I Live in Fullerton – you are soooo right on! I thought the same when I first saw the video, but was so angered over Jones’ remark that I didn’t stay focused and address it in this forum.

She failed, plain and simple. She did not take command of the situation. She’s a teacher (and I am too!) and should know better than to permit name calling and bullying in her classroom. This forum is no different. Now, she needs to apologize to Fullerton citizens for not addressing this situation properly.

  7. Why are these man allowed to continue making these kinds of comments, that are inflammitory, sexist, and offending, when in the private sector, you can be terminated from your employement for doing exactly the same thing! They should all be asked to resign at the next meeting for this kind of behavior and these kinds of comments. Wasn’t there a state rep. whose was recorded making sexist comments and was made to resign his position? Great example these men are for the young Fullertonians.

  8. Stay classy, cornpone.

Wow. What a creepy old loser.

I wonder if the recall pressure is getting to him. I hope so.

    1. McKinley looks preoccupied (or maybe just confused) as he stammers along. Maybe he’s had an epiphany about what he’s done and what is happening now as a consequence..

      Nah.

  9. Talking about weenies isn’t exactly appropriate, but I heard equally rude things from public speakers. If you want a civil conversation don’t taunt them and call them names, or even get up to speak if you don’t really have anything to say. Save your energy for the Recall.

    1. If you want a civil conversation don’t taunt them and call them names

Sounds a lot like “If you don’t want to get hurt don’t resist arrest”.

      Same bullshit different speaker.

      1. Confronting the council with facts that cause them discomfort is different than calling them “M Fs” or any old thing that pops into your head.

        1. Confronting the council with facts that cause them discomfort is different than calling them “M Fs” or any old thing that pops into your head.

Sounds a lot like “Not resisting is different than resisting. If Kelly didn’t resist or try running away he would be alive today.”

          Same bullshit different wording.

          1. Your comparison is spurious, misses the point entirely, and needlessly invokes the murder of Kelly Thomas.

            1. needlessly invokes the murder of Kelly Thomas.

My point is Kelly Thomas didnt need to be murdered. Those officers like city council should used self control.

Also the owners of Bob’s Towing never called them names in fact that exchange you saw took place because your buddy Pat McKinley was taunting them and that is when Dick Jones decided to chime in.

  10. It would be best for you bunch of nit-picking hpyocrites to spend and invest your time in thinking of a plan to elect your candidates in the upcoming election.
Councilman Jones was being nice when he used the word “weenie”.
The proper term when used as a strong admonishment would have been, “tally whacker”.
A good lesson to be learned from this distraction is as follows; be respectful and deliver your
message in YOUR best and acceptable decorum.
Do not lessen the impact and quality of your message by being a “JERK”.

  11. Concerned Texan :
I’m not trying to hijack this blog but I think your comment is interesting. I don’t quite agree with your statement that “WE” create these political monsters. As I watched the entire 6.5 hour meeting archive today I noticed how offensive each of the three dinosaur’s were to the general will of the public. I’d welcome your opinion on that. Also, is there any news on replacement canditates for these three?

Jones was elected and then re-elected three times. As the post says he’s been a loud, ignorant, buffoon the whole time. He’s bee endorsed by the Republican machine and the liberal establishment.

We created and enabled this clown for 15 years. I guess we should take some responsibility, no?

    1. You talk of machines and establishments. How large of a role did they play in the creation of this political monster? However, I believe in accepting responsibility as well. Would you say that people voted for Jones because they didn’t know any better, had no other options or just plain didn’t care?

      1. Jones had just gotten off a term as press of the Chamber of Commerce. He was the selection of Repuglicans like Royce and Ackerman to succeed the cipher Godfrey.

Later, as a reliable staff stooge he was actually endorsed by Sharon Kennedy of socialist Observer fame. Once he got in it has been virtually impossible to dislodge him – which goes to the ignorance and apathy of the voter in local elections.

    2. I guess we should take some responsibility, no?

So I take it you’re tearing up your voter registration card and leaving Fullerton. As a resident of Fullerton I sure wouldn’t want a grossly irresponsible person like yourself voting in another Dick Jones.

      1. Hell, no. I’m taking the opportunity of the Recall to finally get rid of the bums. Thank you Tony B!

  12. In all fairness, if Jones had told the guy he was stepping on his own foot, would there be a slam on SAS for not addressing it? He has as much right as we do to express himself. I don’t even know if she has the right to demand he apologize. The look on her face and the tone in her voice showed she was taken aback and disgusted as many of were. She knew instantly the disruption it was about to cause and attempted to thwart it.

However, we continue to be repulsed by this joke of a political figure. I’ve said it many times and I’ll say it again, Jones is the most uneducated educated man I’ve ever seen. He views himself as smart, better than most and even charming with those dumbass sayings he comes up with. What he said last night was inappropriate and out of line. It embarrassed me as a Fullerton citizen. But let’s be honest, how many had the same reaction as me: first a gasp, then an omg, then a chuckle that he has shown yet again what a bucking he is.

        1. Thanks,Peaches, i’ll have to check it out. Last night it auto corrected Ledbetter to Perverted. lol i caught it though

    1. Despite, what I just said, I do wish Sharon would’ve made some kind of comment acknowledging what Jones said was inappropriate.

  13. Did anyone else hear the sucking sound when the three sucked up to Ron Thomas while trying to score points with anyone that might want to recall them. With other crap they were saying during the meeting, all three might’ve benefitted if told they were stepping on their weenies.

Gotta love the look on McKinley’s face when Jones said this. I imagine him thinking something like, “oh no, for the love of god, Dick, STFU!!!”. lol

    1. The funny thing is that it appeared that they sucked up to the FPD more than anything else after the 5 minute recess. I also caught onto an almost complete denial in their support of policies that got them up for recall in the first place. A couple times McKinley said “We” when he was referring to the police department. No conflict of interest there…

      1. “The funny thing is that it appeared that they sucked up to the FPD more than anything else after the 5 minute recess.”

I think they’re afraid of that department. The FPD has had too much power under McDodo, and the council doesn’t appear to have the cajones to question that.

        1. I wanted to throw something at my computer screen when McKinley started going on and on about how Cpl Ledbetter (sp?) and the other officer were upstanding whatevers… I dunno, they seem more like “aliens” to me…

        2. If McKinley was chief for 16 years or however many years it was, he knows that a lot of the officers have some dirt on how he trained them and things he and FPD did that he does not want the public to know. I suspect this could be the reason for the promotions, even of police officers who are on probation; they keep their mouths shut and uphold the status quo, they get their promotions and keep moving up. Furthermore, when McKinley was making that statement about “council members don’t lead” and then added “police chiefs lead” he was shifting the blame to Sellars and he probably believes that if he was still chief, the corruption would not have been revealed to the public and that what makes a good chief is keeping the public in the dark about the shady dealings of the police department.

    1. So…. they basically want to use a “debate” as a vehicle to gain ALL of our personal information / identities? And I thought FaceBook was bad! While reading that link I felt like I was being politically manhandled by a five year old. Is Larry Bennett going to send the FPD all the way to Texas to harass me?

      1. No, Bennett is well aware that FFFF has thousands of hits day. His website has virtually none.

Here’s an idea, Bennett: have one of your Three Deaf Donkeys debate Chris Thompson live!

      2. 1. The idea is totally stupid because you can’t authenticate an identity on Facebook. I can create a profile with anybody’s name I please.

        2. They want real names in order to harass those who disagree with them. With a real name they will track down a person’s address and phone number and flood them with mailers and phone calls.

        3. Larry wants to do an online written debate. Chris Thompson already challenged him to a videotaped debate, so evidently Larry was too much of a coward.

        4. Larry knows people will not say the same things on their Facebook account. Toning things down would be beneficial to the anti-recall folks.

        5. Larry also wants “responsibility for [their] comments” so that the sleazy attorneys working for Ellis and Ackerman will threaten any commenter with a libel suit for saying things they don’t like.

        6. As I suggested months ago, they are struggling to figure out which demographic groups are pro/anti recall. Linking a Facebook profile allows them to figure out people’s backgrounds and which groups to target will anti-recall literature.

  14. Admin,
Would you please consider taking Larry Bennett’s debate invitation and turning it into its own blog post on FFFF? I don’ think anything I could ever say about it would do it the justice it deserves. And I want to make it clear that I’m not suggesting that you engage in said debate on their terms, only give their offer the proper scrutiny it deserves.

      1. Tony, tell Larry Bennett to create his own blog. I would love to post on that shameful red website wall. As far as using a facebook profile as a way to post, well if he hasn’t noticed; on the internet YOU can be whoever you want to be. It’s pretty obvious.

    1. I think I will.

Of course Bennett is once again dodging the truth. His “proposal” from 2/7/12 was a response to Chris Thompson’s challenge for a debate in NOVEMBER.

Bennett said he had to discuss it with his pals when they all got back from Thanksgiving vacation. Naturally it never went anywhere.

      1. No point in doing anything with Bennett now that the recall has qualified. Debates now are for the three bozos and the candidates who will challenge them.

    1. I saw this:

Janet Sellers Well, it smacks of organized crime or worse – organized manipulation of information to the feds for fame. Either way, Bushala is pushing for power he does not deserve to buy Fullerton and sell it off at his whim. Will the people catch on?! Do they care? If they let him move forward, I suppose they don’t care.

Janet Sellers? The wife of Sellers? The guy who just ripped off Fullerton for $150,000 disability, who will get a 50% tax free pension of $200,000 for both their lives. The guy who couldn’t do his job when the chips were down and sniveled off the map.

      Oh yeah. That guy.

  15. It’s clear they’re playing a gigantic game of dodge ball + I Spy. And I am confident you will eloquently point everything out in your blog entry. Thank you.

  16. Why the video should be released and viewed by the city council….Bruce Whittiker was denied a request to view the video of Kelly Thomas. The point mentioned by the majority of the city council and city attorney is Tony Rackauckas wish to keep the video from going public in order not to interfere with the case. It could do more harm than good by keeping it private. Should Tony Rackauckas be trusted? . Ramos’ pre-beating quote, according to Barnett. At his September press conference announcing the arrests of the two cops, the DA won international attention by telling reporters that Ramos slowly put on gloves as he towered over Thomas and said, “See my fists? They are getting ready to f you up!”

Barnett told me. “What he said was, ‘See my fists? They are getting ready to f you up if you don’t comply or do what I say”

To the defense lawyer, the additional words make a huge difference .
This change in wording seems like a calculated move used to outrage the public but in a court would work against Justice .This representation by Tony is enough to distrust him and break protocal. Releasing the video to Whittiker and the public will bring the case to the public where it belongs to hold Tony accountable. Nothing on the tape will lie it will just show the way it was.The difference between this tape and the Rodney king tape is that we have recorded evidence of what happened at the outset unlike the Rodney King tape which had the first part missing thereby not showing the context of the police action that followed.

  17. Funny…but sad that our civic “leaders” conduct themselves like idiots. When will the Fullerton Observer wake up. I tried to read that today at the car wash on Euclid and gave up. (Oh I do know how to read) lol

  18. I saw that bonehead Bennett sitting in the last row near the door last night at the council meeting.
Does anyone know if he spoke last night?

  19. Is Larry Bennett even remotely serious! He demands transparency yet doesn’t even allow responses to the libel and garbage they out on their site.

Chris offered to debate with Bennett a few months ago. When Bennett and his wife came to Stater Bros one day, he stopped by my table. When I asked about the proposed debate, he assured me he would gladly debate with Chris and it was just a matter of the arrangements being worked out.

Then we proceeded into a 20 or 30 minute debate of our own which I’ve often referred to as a sparring match with him. It was impromptu and Bennett was friendly enough to me all the way through it. I enjoyed it, actually. I was able to shoot holes in everything he said and cinched it when I wanted to show him an article in the Fullerton Observer. He said he’d read it and that it was accurate. I pointed out how the article differed from things he had just said thus proving his claims were false by his own admission. His lips were moving as he tried to think of what to say but nothing came out. We parted amicably and joked when seeing each other at the council meeting he spoke at and I told him he was wrong.

Anyway, as everyone knows, the debate between him and Chris never happened. And now he wants a debate with someone else? Please! I think Larry Bennett is not only a coward to not debate Chris Thompson, but he’s also a coward to want to hide behind a computer screen to take on someone else.

Tony, please don’t do it. It’s only more of their attempts to keep this about you and to distract everyone so the attention is off the three idiots.

(My phone is not playing well with the comment section here today. I can only see the last of what I write and unable to correct typos, if any. Those fluent in Typonese welcomed. lol)

    1. “Tony, please don’t do it. It’s only more of their attempts to keep this about you and to distract everyone so the attention is off the three idiots.”

      BINGO on that one SherB..

  20. I reiterated the offer to Larry when we spoke. I told him we could debate in his garage if he wanted, as long as both parties were allowed to videotape the entire debate. Those three aren’t going to debate and I don’t believe Larry wants a live debate.

    1. It appears he’s made it clear he prefers to hide behind a computer screen. This reminds me of days long ago with political chat rooms and some would be so brave behind a screen but run at any thought of live debates. These same people were also the ones who resorted to name calling, false accusations …hey, wait a minute! I’m seeing similarities here. I lol

    2. I don’t think we need a debate. We need new a City Council. I don’t care what Larry has to say. Bring on the voting.

    1. He is a Political Puppet, Pliable and unknowing of how hard he is being F*****. The “Italians 50 years ago arent even Italian anymore.”

      1. Corruption has many tentacles, the thing about octopi is that even a tentacle is easily recognizable, by its many “Suckers”.

      1. That would make me feel so much better to know this was a fake letter-I was just about to break out the moonshine

  21. Anybody heard from Goodlick lately???? Oh I forgot….Pat McKinley, Don Bankhead, Kevin Hamilton, Dan Hughes, Dick Jones and the city’s fearless leader Joe Felz are protecting Goodrich’s hurt feelings from all of the public backlash that resulted from his arrogant elitist “public realtions” press releases by keeping him out of the public view.

  22. In this video, McKinley drops a Freudian slip. He says,”Charlie, you said we, uh, the department piled on you.” In his mind, McKinley still identifies himself with the police department. Last summer, he hid behind the city attorney’s disastrous advice to lie low, but when CNN came a-calling, there was McKinley front and center spilling the beans. It was obvious he had seen the video, but more than that, he made a notably specific prediction:

I’m going to guess now. I’m going to guess that there may be two, ah, that are deeply involved, ah, the others I dont think the investigation will show had any culpability.

Bullseye! For someone who had not seen the video and had no more information than Bruce Whitaker, his prediction was remarkably accurate. There is a problem however. Even if McKinley had seen the video, how would he have known that Wolfe wouldn’t be charged? Wolfe got more than his share of licks in, and the reason he wasn’t charged is a little nuanced. One wonders what phone records from back then between Sellers and Berry would reveal. Could it be possible that a plan had already been hatched by mid August as to how to handle the case if the coroner wouldn’t play ball? The eye blousing, non-life-threatening facial injuries, worse injuries in Vietnam statements all seemed aimed at managing expectations prior to the Coroner’s report if not actual cues to the Coroner.

Last night, McKinley made some exculpatory statements about Goodrich. Could it be that Gennaco will exonerate Goodrich for the falsehoods he’s uttered and place the responsibility on Sellers?

    1. Just like they piled on Kelly.

Wolfe may be the real architect of the murder – along with Cicinelli as the hit man and Ramos as the patsy.

Somebody knows which FPD asswipes frequented the Slidebar.

    2. Paul, My exact thought when hearing McKinley telling the CNN reporter, “I’m going to guess now. I’m going to guess that there may be two, ah, that are deeply involved, ah, the others I dont think the investigation will show had any culpability” was, “good guess, urinal cake”

  23. Does anybody know what happened to “Public Relations Officer” Sergeant Andrew Goodrich?? Oh, thats right, Mayor Sharon Quirk-Silva, Mayor Pro Tem former Police Chief Pat McKinley, Council Member and former Police Captain Don Bankhead, Council Member Richard Jones, former “Acting Chief” Kevin Hamilton and current Acting Chief Dan Hughes have all decided to protect his hurt
feelings by keeping him out of the public eye. Just watch, next thing you know they are going to promote that arrogant elitest union slug to Lieutenant.

  24. I agree that Gennaco will make Sellers the fallguy now that he is gone and McKinley, Felz and Silva will “strongly” encourage that Goodrich be promoted to Lieutenant as soon as Gennaco exonerates him in the next city council meeting. His just reward.

  25. The insider from KFIs Jon and Ken, said Mc Satan was in control, and Sellers was considered to be a pussy, (perfect if you still want control)

    1. That’s because when they don’t know shit – they make it up. Sellers was no pussy, he was a hard ass on discipline compared to McKinley. Felz already made him his fall guy, that’s old news.

  26. he Soviet Union, for its part, alleged that the United States was an imperialist superpower seeking to dominate the entire world, and that the Soviet Union was fighting against it in the name of humanity. In Moscow, the Soviet press agency TASSsaid the “evil empire” words demonstrated that the Reagan administration “can think only in terms of confrontation and bellicose, lunatic antI-communism.” -Wiki

Exactly parallel to the RecallNo campagne.

  27. Gennaco is going to report that most of the media manipulation was Sellers incompetence and Gennaco will exonerate Goodrich. Watch, as soon as that happens Goodrich will be promoted. Mckinley, Sharon, Felz and Hamilton have already decided that. Union spokesman gets his reward.

    1. Goodrich will get nothing for sure. He did nothing wrong. He reported what Sellers and the brass (current Chief also) told him to say. Goodrich will get one thing, a brass bar on this collar and a pay raise.

      1. THIS is one of the issues I noticed that you’ve been consistant about on this blog.

The fact that Goodrich simply reports what he’s told by his uppers.

I’m thinkin’ you ARE correct on this one.

        1. Way too many Rbst laden dairy products for that fathead. Broken bones? Violent struggle? Stolen property? Superhuman strength? They are so used to everyone licking the boots, swallowing the lies and cowering to the black uniforms that they ACTUALLY THOUGHT THAT THEY COULD GET AWAY WITH MURDER. Sorry Charlie-not this time. Even the DA took months to find a way out for these goons and had come to same conclusion as the public. The only way out is through a turnstile that leads to a prison cell for the monsters that did this to Kelly Thomas.

  28. Tuco says:
Go recall! Get rid of the three and get three new ones in there who work for the people of Fullerton!
    Why?
Think about the Sellers admin leave and partially tax free pension. Since Sellers did not fulfill the terms of his contract by not moving to Fullerton, the council could have given him an unusually difficult time in obtaining his pension deal. They chose instead to roll over and play dead! This council has been derelict in carrying out its duties to the people of Fullerton and the city manager is complicit since he follows the majority.Same for the city attorney. Sad to see Fullerton being used by politicians for their own gain!

  29. The Fullerton Savage :Talking about weenies isn’t exactly appropriate, but I heard equally rude things from public speakers. If you want a civil conversation don’t taunt them and call them names, or even get up to speak if you don’t really have anything to say. Save your energy for the Recall.

    Bullshit F.S. !!!

  30. @ 20 seconds in to the tape “Yuht, yuht, yuht, yuh steppin’ on ya own weanie…..” Anyone else have a porky pig falsh back when they heard this? Give it one more listen. Well: “budda beep, budda beep, budda beep, budda, thats all folks!” as my friend Porky would say.

I am so proud of the Fullerton Police for reaching deep in to their pockets (rear ends?) and pulling out $19,000 for this imbecile. Maybe they have a point. When a guy is as entertaining and self destructive as Dick Jones, why would we want to recall him? We cant get this kind of entertainment any where else.

  31. Did FPD spend over 1 year preparing the nearly 600 page report for the RFP, just to be told by counsel to start over and maybe use someone outside the department to complete?

  32. aaa2 :
Did FPD spend over 1 year preparing the nearly 600 page report for the RFP, just to be told by counsel to start over and maybe use someone outside the department to complete?

The Lieutenants in most departments are what I call the project “bitches”, projects delegated by the Captain to be completed by a certain deadline.

I am sure FPD keeps files on anything and anyone they want just like J.Edgar Hoover did on political officials.

This report may have very well been in the making for sometime. But I think it may have been speeded up once the lawsuit came about.

Even more so when FFFF started hammering away.

I’ll call it a dog and pony show for our benefit and the publics.

Things like this are generally handled behind close doors.

The airing of this situation under ALL the circumstances going on within the City, just opens up the door for more scrutiny by some of us who can call specific BS on specific issues.

Someone could say it was done to show transperancy in lite of the current state of affairs to.

FPD just wanted to call Bob’s towing a “dirtbag” operation in a public forum.

Much like we do to them and their minions.

  33. Reality Is :
Goodrich will get nothing for sure. He did nothing wrong. He reported what Sellers and the brass (current Chief also) told him to say. Goodrich will get one thing, a brass bar on this collar and a pay raise.

I see your changing direction somewhat RI, is the wind blowing in a different direction?

You saw the TV series “flipper” when you were a kid didn’t you?

Or is Mike Sellers on vacation and Pat McKinley has taken over the keyboard?

Your spine is not like the “gumby” doll is it? Bend it, shape it anyway you want?

Yes Goodrich is following orders from the corrupt regime. And he will promoted for it like all TURDS who play that game.

Did nothing wrong? NO he didn’t kill Kelly. Follow orders in the crover up of a MURDER is the accessory to same.

Maybe you should go read Sergeant Stacy Koon’s book, “pressume guilty”. The get back to me on legal responsibility in following UNLAWFUL orders.

  34. Thanks for the replay. I never get tired of watching Jones stick his, er, foot in his mouth.

“Ya steppin on ya own weenie…”

    Classic.

  35. If these 3 retreads are not recalled….I will start erecting a giant wall…(just likes Pink Floyd’s)….around Fullerton….because I don’t want any of that crap flowing our way…..
