A Letter from Bruce Whitaker

This is leadership folks.  Plain and simple.  Juxtapose this honest and sincere letter from Councilman Bruce Whitaker with the foolish and self-serving comments of Pat McKinley and Dick Jones, or the silence of Don Bankhead.

  1. I commend the letter. Honest, compassionate and assigning accountablity to those responsible. Nice job, Bruce!

Now Bruce must start asking why the leaders and rank ‘n file at Fullerton PD or other Orange County police associations have not stepped forward and issued statements that they condemn what took place on the video tape and assert that it is not a representation of what Orange County law enforcement stands for.

Yet, we haven’t seen any such statement from police officers in Orange County. hmmm. Where I’m from SILENCE IS COMPLICITY.

I believe Bruce needs to point that out and emphasize it.

If Bruce doesn’t – no one else will.

    1. The video does not show no wrong doing by the officers. What video did Bruce look at. He is talking out of his ass….rederic.

      1. “Does not show no wrong doing”

Correct. Your illiterate double negative is what is known as a Freudian slip.

The video shows fat, lazy, stupid, incompetent, brutal swine committing a murder.

      2. Are we really to believe that when these 6 Clydesdales beat the living shit out of Kelly, they did not intend to beat him?
Unless they were all suffering from involuntary epileptic seizures of some sort, this is not a truthful claim.
The 6 Reno 911 officers intentionally beat Mr. Thomas, which is an act that is dangerous to human life.
They knew this was a dangerous act,
(surely they even know repeated beating and Tasering is dangerous)
and consciously beat him until he was almost dead. If this not adequate grounds for a murder charge, I’m not sure what is.

      3. I agree with John Doe, the video “does not show no wrong doing by the officers”. What it does show, is NOTHING BUT WRONG DOING!

        1. Whatever media whore! You know what the truth is cause it’s going to come out when you are put on the stand. Then we will all see what kind of father you were.

  2. Interesting to compare Whitaker’s statement with Quirk’s which basically tried real hard to please everybody.

Quirky seems to think some sort of “reform” is underway. She is wrong. There is no there, there. And she is going to get hammered in November. It will be fun to watch that and get rid of her at the same time.

    1. She is lucky she is not being recalled as well. Not quite as douchey as the the 3 jackasses, but a douchebag none the less.

    1. Wow. Thank you for that article, Steven Greenhut. I’m impressed that you, being a former OC Register journalist and a current regular columnist there, would be willing to confront the Register Editorial Board about their recent lap-dog pro-cop and pro-Fullerton City Council editorial. How could any reasonable person not understand how the 3 Council members circled the wagons for the Fullerton cops? Anybody with a set of eyes and ears understands how guilty the cops are [and not just the ones charged] and how complicit the 3 Council members were after Kelly was murdered. The gall of these pseudo journalists treating us like children and telling us to wait for the verdict and justice to run it’s course. Screw that. My eyes and ears don’t lie. I’ve seen all the evidence that I need to see. The poor guy was screaming for mercy and the louder he screamed the harder they beat him.

God bless you, Steven Greenhut. My opinion of you just got upgraded! 🙂

          1. police state ? We’re there and have been for a long long time, since police dept Unionization began anyway. Even the police chief, d.a. all across America have to give blowjobs to keep their j-o-b-s. Give me North Korea, RUSSIA, TUrkey, Bahrain, Israel version of the police state any day. The american version of the police state, starts with unionized police agencies, with “police powers” arresting 3-4-year-olds and 84-year olds in wheelchairs with HANDCUFFS, even tasering for fun, then proclaiming The rules say so …… No, AMERICA with Liberty — long, long gone how to get it back, Abolish gun control, why in the hell do only police have Carte Blanche(the most generous) Gun ownership, use rights. Give the most generous, liberal GUN rights back to ALL U.S. citizen FIRST, then maybe Liberty will start to appear. Never, and NOT before will Liberty Appear.

  3. My family and I are forever indebted to Bruce Whitaker for having the courage to seek out the truth, while the rest of the city council’s cowered in fear and fretted about their own political lives.

    1. Oh, you’re indebted alright. We all are and incredibly more so with his hack, grandstanding letter. He gave all the plaintiffs they need to bankrupt the city. Bruce Whitaker is fucking imbecile and he suckles at the teet of Tony Bushala.

  4. d.a. Ra-COCK-us, “in conscious disregard for human life”

(my version) Human life ? those dirty cop terrorists with “police powers” did and do not see human life when they see
Mr. Kelly Thomas. That is the key, insurmountable fact & obstacle that led to his vicious, unjust, cruel, criminal DEATH.
what more does anyone need to know ? IS ANY DOG on the planet routinely killed like Mr. Thomas Kelly ?

  5. …. did not and do not see human life when they see Mr. Kelly Thomas. That is the key, insurmountable fact & obstacle that led to his vicious, unjust, cruel, criminal DEATH.
what more does anyone need to know ? IS ANY DOG on the planet routinely killed like Mr. Thomas Kelly ?

  6. Whitacre you grandstanding fool. Had the video been released when you requested there would have been no audio. Just a grainy indecipherable mess that proved nothing. They audio was added in preparation for the preliminary hearing. When the DA tells you to refrain from stupid publicity stunts he does so for a reason. Let your Legislative buddies do the grandstanding, they’re much better at it.

      1. Travis — I know that that you’re exaggerating, but is it the case that the city had both the means and the authorization to do so at an earlier time?

  7. We were planning on moving into the Fullerton area when Kelly was murdered.

All my life as a SoCal native I’ve loved OC; surfed and dived there, always wanted to live there, and then this happened.

Innocent Kelly Thomas ran afoul of a clot of rotten-to-the-core killer scumbadges who smashed him to death. Our plans obviously changed and we went elsewhere. As of this moment, Fullerton is clearly not safe and the downtown area is dangerous to normal, healthy SoCal citizens.

    But not for long, hopefully.

I don’t physically live in Fullerton, but like untold millions of good people all over the world watching Kelly’s story unfold, I’m WITH Fullerton, you know?

Thanks and praises to Kelly’s Army for keeping his little arms raised against the brutish thuggery of the fpd.

Thanks and praises to FFFF for keeping Kelly’s truth alive in the face of geezerish coverup crap. It’s worse than we thought, I figure.

Thanks and praises to KFI 640 and John and Ken for shining the brightest of journalistic media lights on this most outrageous crime.

Thanks, praises and all the rest to Kelly and his wonderful family.

When this is finally over, when Kelly’s murderers are tucked away safely in hell and the hideous fpd and it’s creepy collaborators are gone forever, Fullerton will emerge as that cool, clean little SoCal city where we all would love to live.

I figure a ten-foot tall golden statue of Kelly Thomas will fit perfectly in the garden of the new Fullerton’s People’s Park.

    Justice for Kelly Thomas.

    Justice for Fullerton.

    Justice for all of us.

      1. That wasn’t very nice.

I’m neither stupid nor a “whack.”

I thought we were all more or less on the same page here. Justice for Kelly Thomas.

I would never say that kind of crude thing about you, you know.

            1. Im none of them..who knows I could be one of your own who decided to come out of the dark side. My education and grammer fits who I saw in court last week. See ya gotta catch the bus.

          1. John Doe–current Fullerton cop who posts under different screen names, sometimes tries to change up the writing style to make it appear to be different people, but it’s the same person.

  8. Before it’s over Rackaukas will ruin the prosecution’s case. Mark my words. IMO he has already committed egreious prosecutorial errors like overcharging one cop and undercharging the other. And FAILING to prosecute Wolfe, at minimum. All this will come back to haunt him and the case. Strategic and critical errors that even a 2nd year law school student wouldn’t make in a mock prosecution and trial. IMO he is setting up the case to fail. He was forced to prosecute – he really had no choice with the evidence and the public pressure. Not that he’s forced to prosecute the next best solution is to prosecute badly and make stupid mistakes that will either set the guilty free or get them off with a handslap. That’s my take and analysis. Watch closely. I will be proven correct.

    1. A few months ago another poster went into detail about how he purposely set up this case to fail.

      1. Actually it was Joe Sipowicz and it was a blog post… http://www.fullertonsfuture.org/2012/born-to-lose-the-do-nothing-das-recipe-for-failure/

but this posting was pretty interesting too.

These officers will be acquitted without a doubt.

The DA submitted a crappy case full of holes to absolve himself of responsibly and to quiet down protesters.

A few months ago the DA Tony R said on KFI that the combined weight of the all of officers caused Kelly’s death not the actions of one or two officers (Funny he didn’t name which officers were on top of Kelly).

Good luck getting Ramos convicted for 2nd degree murder based on that and the DA’s case against Jay Cyclops is even weaker because his actions according to the DA did not cause Kelly’s death and lets not forget that they completely skipped over Wolfe’s actions.

If any of the recordings start shortly after Officer Ramos contacts Kelly, the defense lawyers are going to say “gee we don’t know what was said or done before hand” also I have a feeling that Ramos ““i’m going to F you up” comment either didn’t happen or didn’t happened the way the DA put it which will further weaken the case.

The DA is just filing this case because they want their hands clean, they want to say “Hey! We charged them. Don’t blame us. Blame the jury for not convicting them”.

In the meanwhile I expect some sort of multi million dollar settlement with Ron between the time this goes to trial and before the verdict to shut him up.

They’re not going to work with Garo Mardirossia to go over additional evidence, they are not going to call all of their witnesses and they have no interest in the medical reports released.

The so-called Gennaco “Investigation” is nothing more than a scam meant to bilk tax payers out of thousands of dollars and in return they will get a nicely worded report that makes the public feel warm and gushy and the city say “gee that wasnt so bad”.

Gennaco isn’t working on an “official” capacity, he is a private citizen/entity (like this blog) so the city, police department, etc has no obligation to cooperate with him or give him accurate information.

This is not justice for Kelly. This is a whitewash.

        Its a Whitewash

        1. Joe did a very nice analysis there. You notice that Rackaukas has kept his mouth shut about the cops rewriting their original reports after being allowed to view the video and listen to the audio. That should be a HUGE HUGE legal issue in this case and Rackaukas should subpeona Hughes and the rest of the Fullerton brass who orchestrated such questionable acts. But watch it get downplayed or even ignored as this case moves forward. If I were a juror and I watched Wolfe’s participation in the beating – and I noticed that he wasn’t charged I would be saying “WFT??” very very loudly to my fellow jurors. And I would be asking why the guy who pummeled Kelly about the head 8 times with a metal taser gun was only charged with involuntary manslaughter. These things make absolutely zero sense. And if they don’t make sense there must be a reason why. I believe it was done to set the case up to fail. That’s my opinion.

        2. If that’s true, and I hope that it isn’t, then I will look forward to Tony digging considerably deeper into his vault and supporting someone to run against Rackaukus. (He’s gonna need a bigger boat.)

      1. “Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty.” – Thomas Jefferson

“They that are on their guard and appear ready to receive their adversaries, are in much less danger of being attacked than the supine, secure and negligent.” – Benjamin Franklin

          1. How long can it possibly take to watch this video and interview a few cops and their supervisors?
Why the foot dragging? They want to wait to see what happens in the criminal case? That is waiting way too long. Their investigation (Feds) should be over by now.

    2. I can’t say you’re wrong at this point. He has come to this way too reluctantly, imo. I can’t stand one more article calling him courageous when he really had no choice, and it took him quite a while to file the way too inadequate charges.

  9. Strange how long it takes Hughes and the Fullerton cops to do an internal investigation on a case that is pretty much cut and dried. Didn’t Hughes say he watched the video hundreds of times long before we had a chance to see it??? DId he watch it with his eyes closed or something? Sure doesn’t take them long to investigate when it’s a civilian who commits an offense. Justice is swift in those cases. But watching a cop internal investigation is like watching molasses move uphill. The whole idea is to prolong the internal affairs investigation for as long as possible hoping you’ll forget about it. Then right before a long weekend or a holiday the cop is exonnerated of all wrongdoing.

    1. Its always fascinating to me how such a large percentage of what a Politician or Bureaucrat will say is the exact or almost opposite of what they mean. (“BS FACTORIES”)

During the early and initial Cover Up, they had a hope it could be kept quiet. But the Flood Gates opened big last week. Mainstream have picked their side.
“Bravado with a face of evil dies historical deaths”

    2. I think I saw the same video everyone else did. Can someone please point out at which point Thomas stopped resisting? I thought I heard one of the cops say at one point “He bit me” and another one ask the 4th cop that arrived to help them. That doesn’t sound like a person complying with the cops. Without the audio you cleary see a person resisting the cops the whole time. I agree the audio makes it sound worse because of him apologizing and yelling he couldn’t breathe. Looks like they were trying to handcuff him the whole time and if he would have complied they would have stopped. I’m sorry but everyone made it sound worse than what I saw.

      1. I would resist too if I was being threatened and then murdered. A man trying to breathe does not give the cops the right to use lethal force. Kelly was not a physical threat.

        1. He should of done what the cops told him. He wanted it his way and it wasn’t going to happen. Once you start fighting with the cop they are not giving in to you. He should of just complied. He was just a stubborn punk.

          1. Should “have” done. Should “have” just complied. And here I was assuming cops needed GEDs.

My second grader writes better than you. And I mean that literally. As opposed to “illiterately.”

              1. No, besides trying to instruct you in rudimentary English, we also have murder and manslaughter charges.

But the real reason to discuss your grammar is because the citizenry would prefer that our police force be composed of people of at least average intelligence. Its not necessary for you to all be Einsteins but you can understand our reservations about being “policed” by subhumans.

                1. What makes you think I am a cop. There is others that disagree with your logic, not just cops. Stop being so critical of how people write and give me real facts. Cause if you see the video it’s all there.

      2. Much of Kelly’s reaction was reflex action. If a human being cannot breath he is going to start reacting like a fish out of water. It is pure instinct. I bet if someone shoved your head underwater you’d fight back too, wouldn’t you??? Why don’t you think before you post??? Are you telling me 3, 4, 5 or 6 cops couldn’t cuff one 130 pound man??? What are you people on anyway?

        1. Not if he was behaving like a mad man. Trying to grab the officers gun and holding one of the officers arm between his, he is a sicko.

          1. If he was fighting he was fighting for his life, you sap.

I bet if 6 lardbuckets jumped on you and started beating you on the head with a taser gun breaking your jawbone and chipping bone fragments into your brain you’d fight back too. All you pigs refuse to fight 1 on 1. You lock yourselves in your units until backup arrives. You even panic with odds of 6 to 1. Not only are you stupid – you are wussies to boot.

            1. No 6 jumped on him stupid. Didnt you see the video. Are you people that dumb. It was only one on him. He was just a stubborn punk that wanted to fight.

              1. Check it out. The chucklehead cop thinks the state of California has a death penalty for people being stubborn.

Roving gangs of halfwits preying on the weakest members of society. Proud to be a Fullerton cop?

                1. And the state of California is not going to put a cop away for saying “I am going to fuck you up” yeah I am chuckling.

              2. You try being tackled face down with your hands under your body with a 200+ lbs sitting on your back, being kneed and punched all while being asked that you to get your hands behind your back (but can’t because of the fatty on your back), then start feeling your life slipping away as you can’t breath, then more weight is put on you and you get tazered and face smashed in and you still can’t get your arms out from underneath you because of the 4-5 cops all leaning on you crushing your lungs. You try and lay still with that beating. Wolfe’s first swing at Kelly was criminal.

          2. Stop your lying and crying JD. The video’s out and we all know what happened and who was in the wrong.

And yes, your grammer sucks! Cop boy…

            1. I don’t care if my grammar sucks..what are we back In school. You all just have little to say. And what you do say is crap,

          3. ” trying to grab the {dirty cop terrorists’] gun” ? are you a cop or related to a cop (cockroach) ?

      3. Can someone please tell me what Kelly was being arrested for that led to the “resisting arrest” beating? If they had reason to handcuff him, why didn’t they do that right away? They certainly do not appear to be threatened by him in any way while they stood over him, harassing him while he was sitting on the ground. I get the part where Ramos repeatedly tried to incite him by talking to him in a threatening manner, changing the instructions, swinging the bat and so forth. It clearly looks like he was trying to get a reaction out of Kelly, perhaps so that he would then have some reason to “react” to Kelly, but Kelly remained passive. When they did finally all out physically attack him, he was trying to get away from them, not going after them.

  10. I cant help but wonder how these are so much like an “Honour Killings”, they really creep me out.

“An honor killing, or honour killing (also: honor murder) is the homicide of a member of a family or social group by other members, due to the belief of the perpetrators that the victim has brought dishonor upon the family or community. Honor killings are directed mostly against women and girls, but have been extended to men.”- Wikipedia

  11. From Wikipedia, under “Torture Murder”

“One of the criteria for a judgement of “murder in the first degree” in the laws of the state of New York is that:”

“…the defendant acted in an especially cruel and wanton manner pursuant to a course of conduct intended to inflict and inflicting torture upon the victim prior to the victim’s death. As used in this subparagraph, “torture” means the intentional and depraved infliction of extreme physical pain; “depraved” means the defendant relished the infliction of extreme physical pain upon the victim evidencing debasement or perversion or that the defendant evidenced a sense of pleasure in the infliction of extreme physical pain…”

      1. Wow, a freakin’ genius. He knows where he is! He also knows he dropped out after the sixth grade.

    1. On the next post I accidently put a link to page 5.
Had to leave on a lighter note,
Really long and interesting article. A MUST READ!

Is Tony Bushala OC’s Newest Kingmaker?

The founder of Friends for Fullerton’s Future blog says his war on bad government didn’t start with the Kelly Thomas beating, and it’s not over yet

This is the correct link, Very well made article. of Tony Bushala.

  12. Nice move Bruce. Nothing like convicting them before a jury does. Remember you work for all citizens of Fullerton. Your job is to represent ALL citizens. I want my Council Members to make decisions based on FACTS, not things you make up in your head. You still claim there is a cover up by the PD, yet you’ve done nothing to prove it. Why is that? I’ve heard you say the police reports were doctored, yet have you seen them? Can you prove they were?
Stop running your mouth unless you can back it up with FACTS! I want my Council Members to think before they speak. The problem is you can’t speak without Bushala or Thompson putting words in your mouth.
I say the citizens recall YOU.

    1. Nothing like convicting them before a jury does.

Those love how fat headed dumbshits like this expect us to suspend all thought about anything until a “jury” has decided.

I say the citizens recall YOU.

Go for it dumbshit. No one is stopping you.

      1. The point, jackass, was that Whitaker is an elected official and needs to be accountable for what he says.

      1. You called me a dumbshit first, I replied with jackass and I’m bitter? I guess that’s what to expect when one has different views from the majority on this blog. I guess the first amendment doesn’t count on this website? Isn’t that one of the things you try so dearly to protect on this website? All I have to say is I can vote in Fullerton which more than I can say for most on this blog.

          1. What’s the matter, Freddie? Mommy not letting you service your Johns in her basement anymore?

    2. Here’s a fact: the FPD swine stood around laughing as Kelly died in the gutter.

Here’s another fact: in three weeks there’s going to be a house cleaning.

    3. Go easy on big Bruce. He’s got his new grandstanding training wheels. He’s just learning how to use them. Anthony B. says Bruce is a work in progress — we should all be patient as while he grooms him.

    4. Here, here! What a bunch of self-aggrandizing bullshit from a hack politician. No wonder, he works for that wife beating drunkard Norby. I’m a taxpayer too, dear Whitaker and what you just did was pad the plaintiff’s wrongful death claim with your pious, self – righteous comments written under city letterhead. Every ambulance chasing scumbag attorney is going to use your lame, self-promoting and grandstanding letter to pad their claims agains the city. You, Bruce Whitaker are a fucking imbecile and deserve to be thrown out on your ass. Recall Whitaker, he’s too stupid for his own good.

  13. Compassionate and straight to the point. I look forward to addressing Bruce Whitaker as Mayor next year.

      1. Q-S is still Mayor; next opportunity for Whitaker (depending on his re-election in November) would be December or so, as I think “transition” occurs in December… June is not an option.

  14. Sound familiar? Lol

OXNARD, Calif. (KABC) — An Oxnard man is behind bars for allegedly assaulting a police officer on Saturday afternoon.

Oxnard police were sent to the 2400 block of Saviers Road about 1:30 p.m. on a disturbance call after someone reported seeing a person yelling at and threatening children.

An officer tried to detain the suspect, 31-year-old Octavio Salgado. Salgado allegedly turned around and began fighting the officer, during which Salgado tried to take the officer’s gun from his holster at least twice.

The officer called for backup and Salgado was taken into custody. Salgado was transported to the Ventura County Medical Center for treatment sustained during the arrest.

The officer was also treated for minor injuries at St. John’s Hospital and later released.

According to police, more than 100 people who were at Centerpoint Mall at 2655 Saviers Rd. witnessed the incident.

Salgado was in custody at Ventura County Jail for numerous felony counts, including assault on a peace officer.

    1. These coplickers are really grasping at straws. It’s sad really.

I love how they find some random article of something happening somewhere to justified the brutal murder of Kelly Thomas.

  15. John Doe :No 6 jumped on him stupid. Didnt you see the video. Are you people that dumb. It was only one on him. He was just a stubborn punk that wanted to fight.

    GRAMMER TEMPLATE FOR THE ILLITERATE

  16. John Doe :
I don’t care if my grammar sucks..what are we back In school. You all just have little to say. And what you do say is crap,

Questions end with a question mark, or are you still back in school?

      1. Plain Glazed :
No, besides trying to instruct you in rudimentary English, we also have murder and manslaughter charges.
But the real reason to discuss your grammar is because the citizenry would prefer that our police force be composed of people of at least average intelligence. Its not necessary for you to all be Einsteins but you can understand our reservations about being “policed” by subhumans.

I was studying the traits of homicidal killers today, it is much much better to be more competent and Intelligent. It actually explained a lot. The not for performance Public Education systems are probably a really big killer. 🙁

        1. “At the beginning of the study, the researchers found, both men and women with higher hostility levels also had higher BMIs. BMIs rose over time.

While the relationship between BMI and hostility remained constant for women, hostility seemed to accelerate weight gain over time in the men.”

        2. That is funny how you are all conern with my grammer. You have nothing better to say. And the way you all continue with your same rederic makes YOU ALL look like homicid al killers. Me in my simple mind are way smarter than all you.

          1. John Doe :That is funny how you are all conern with my grammer. You have nothing better to say. And the way you all continue with your same rederic makes YOU ALL look like homicid al killers. Me in my simple mind are way smarter than all you.

ANOTHER GENIOUS COMMENT FROM OUR RESIDENT COP-SUCKER JOHN DOE…HA!

        3. You will never find passive cops. They die quick. You will have to change training from day 1. Call POST. Some passive cities in the Midwest but they have the most cops killed so that will never sell. Keep preaching to yourself LS.

          1. A cop does not have to be passive or aggressive to be a good cop. And yes, changing the training you are providing to your police officers in California sounds like a great idea and it is obviously needed.

            1. I should have said more directly that a good cop is neither passive or aggressive. Well trained is a good start.

              1. Best trained cops are in Califirnia. By far. I guess you just need to spend sometime at the academy and recommend changes to POST? Learn the training first hand?

                1. Best trained? Oh, you mean in police brutality? Yes, it does appear that California cops are well-trained in how to brutalize the citizenry. Most especially Fullerton PD officers.

  18. There should be an impartial investigation on this
This has become an international issue
not an issue with Fullerton any more
    John Doe/
what is the matter with you ? do not you have a Conscience?
Either you are on drugs or a pedophile or a criminal who love killing people or one of the police officers who killed Kelly
come Clean Mr John Doe or what ever your name is

    1. I have freedom of speech, just like all you slime balls. You just dont like to hear the truth. No I am not all those names that you threw at me. Stop crying and smell the roses.

      1. You also have a great deal of difficutly with your speech as well as your morals…
And you can’t handle the real truth.

  19. Didn’t like my “Who is bring the Tar and who is bringing the Feathers next Tuesday”…..crack….”I say..it’s a joke son….”

  20. Why are posters allowed to trash talk some city council members on this board and not others??? What the hell is going on here??? Are posts criticizing Quirk off-limits??? What is motivating this??? If this blog represents truth and justice we deserve a response and answer. Quirk is aptly deserving of intense criticism. Why is she being protected???

    1. They protected their people from Day 1. Quirk said get the homeless socks. So they said that was enough. They didn’t realize she was a hardcore politician. Ooops. Strike 1.

    2. Are posts criticizing Quirk off-limits???

I wasn’t aware that people weren’t allowed to criticize her Holiness Queen Silva of Fullerton. I certainly criticize that two face snake all the time here and none of my posts have been censored.

      Why is she being protected???

Other than posters posting a different opinion, who is protecting her and what exactly to you mean by “protecting”?

  21. How do I become a cop licker?

You get on your knees the moment you see the badge and nature will take over from there my coplicking fiend.

    1. I would swear on a bible that I saw a bunch of posts criticizing Quirk last night. I wrote a couple myself. I don’t see them today. And I wasn’t drinking last night either. If someone else sees them please point them out. Perhaps my eyes are playing tricks. All pols and gov offiials should be fair game on these boards. If they are allowed to screw us we should be allowed to point it out. That is the basis of a free society.

  22. Reality Is :
Best trained cops are in Califirnia. By far. I guess you just need to spend sometime at the academy and recommend changes to POST? Learn the training first hand?

An OC weekly article said the Brea PD Shot a guy in handcuffs, with efficient coverup, and the City Council not doing anything kind of training?

    1. You are funny LS. You wouldn’t admit cops did a good job no matter how good a job they did. Why don’t you share the facts of that case and the history instead of just assuming it was bad cops? I know your type very well. You have good original intentions but over the years you have lost focus. Get back on track and focus on bad cops again.

        1. I thought you meant in general.

They didn’t say he was shot while handcuffed. Of course LS said that. Doesn’t surprise me.

Easy to get facts. Sue. Everyone sues then gets answers in discovery and depos.

I only know a little about this case. He was the robber. Did he have a gun?

If he had a gun and he reached for it, is it bad that the cops shot him?

Maybe this is why YL is going to OCSD?

War weapons are standard. They have been used a few times when needed.

      1. Yorba Linda dont want them and brea wants to Co comand with FPD, “TROUBLING to say the least” SD is a very logical step for many PDs overwhelmed by Corruption.

I have posted many very positive things about FPD and Police, almost every American doesnt like reckless, sadistic, people or animals wether they be some fool like you on a keyboard, or in any kind of uniform. (like FBI or any Service)

A while ago Fullerton PD had a very good reputation, from what I saw and heard on Jon and Ken there still is.

Maybe you and Mc Satan can get a group rate on an Exorcism, lots of Churches around here.

  23. No. I mean best trained by far. Like I said in the other post, you will always have bad cops. Always. Humans are humans.

    blessusall :
Best trained? Oh, you mean in police brutality? Yes, it does appear that California cops are well-trained in how to brutalize the citizenry. Most especially Fullerton PD officers.

    http://blogs.ocweekly.com/navelgazing/2010/09/jules_collender_break_police_k.php
They say the assault rifle was “a war weapon,” that Collender “sprung backwards from the impact, paralyzed, his body going into shock.” And yet, he was handcuffed while lying in the street, dying.

Whatever happened, the events afterwards were more than fishy.

  25. Listen up folks, it’s grammar, spelled with an “a”.

And, rhetoric is the correct spelling of the other misspelled word.

    jeez!

    1. Yeah, Yeah, look up Albert Einstein he was the worse speller and his grammEr sucked. Most intelligent people are like us.

  26. Even if he was a bad father, which I don’t believe he is, he would be the bad father of a murdered son. Doesn’t change one fact.

  27. Thank you Mr. Whitaker for knowing right from wrong. Not alot of that going around these days.
