Weird Times At City Hall

There was supposed to be a Fullerton City Council meeting today. In fact, it was supposed to going on right now.

But apparently the meeting has been cancelled: the City Clerk finally posted about the meeting just today. Previously there was no agenda posted on line at all, an action that normally takes place late on the Thursday before a meeting.

Why the cancellation? Who knows? Last time three council members were said to be unable to attend. Now the matter takes on a new significance given that a 26-27 budget has not yet been passed and the City is running off a stop-gap extension.

Something is up over in City Hall, for sure. I don’t know what it is. But I do know the conspiracy freaks at Fullerton Crazy and the intrepid fact avoiders at the Fullerton Observer are going to come unglued.
