You should know that Fire Dept units are only dispatched to accidents when the caller reports there ARE INJURIES or that it is UNKNOWN IF THERE ARE INJURIES. Fire units are started when it is reported as “unknown” if anyone is injured IN THE INTEREST of the citizen who may need help, be it medics or getting cut out of a munched vehicle. (Yes, even some of the really obvious calls get reported as unknown if any injuries).

That is a higher level of public safety that many community members desired and in some cities, demand. In your mind a desire to provide a level of service is a scam by the PUBLIC SERVANTS. How very sad for you.

And I hope you enjoy all that peace and quiet from the lack of heli’s flying. They were very helpful to the ground units and made both foot and vehicle pursuits much safer for everyone. Especially the residents when that fleeing felon was jumping fences through neighborhoods. Unfortunatle it will probably soon be replaced by the sounds of sirens chasing all the new early release paroles coming back to join their buddies.

There is no scam in the above issues, just good employees trying to provide it’s citizens good service. But you seem so convinced all are lazy ass, uneducated, self-serving pigs, and that is so far from reality that it is truly sad.

The costs to the taxpayers by the guile of PUBLIC SERVANTS under the facade of health and safety is an outright SCAM.
Think you’re being screwed on your water bill, citizens need to be turning over a lot more rocks.

FOLLOW THE “MONEY”
The city needs to implement a policy with ordinance authority for the disclosure of ALL income of all FPD, Fire Dept, and senior city management. Very similar to what the Chief of Police for the city of Los Angeles has initiated.
Would it be possible that the FPD has a rogue group that the FPD senior officers are turning a blind eye to or are some enjoyimg the booty from illegal search and seizure operations.
Would a real drug dealer file a complaint to the FPD, DA, FBI, ??
Are any of Rafael Perezs’ gang or any of past LAPD special units members employed in the FPD ?
