Thanksgiving Message to Friends

Here is a re-post of a Thanksgiving message from last year. So much has changed and yet much remains to be done. Nobody ever thought the forces of avarice, corruption and moral turpitude would go into their good night quietly.

As we pause today to give thanks for whatever we have to be thankful for, please consider how fortunate we are to live in a nation where freedom of speech actually means something.

This blog has never abused that basic right. We are abusive, rude, enlightening, abrasive, endearing, funny, not funny; we are free with our opinions, but never make things up. And we always remember what Dick Jones, Don Bankhead and Pat McKinley do not: that we derive the right from ourselves, and not from the government that would make us fill out a little blue card to speak to them.

We have been accused of being angry. Hell, yes we’re angry: as our elected representatives cut ribbons and hobnobbed at Chamber of Commerce mixers and rubber stamped every idiocy put in front of them, our city (ours, not theirs) was turned over to a gang of grifters, liars, thugs, pickpockets, perverts and killers.

These same buffoons have turned downtown Fullerton into a urine-soaked, booze addled free-for-all upon which our city council unleashed a band of uniformed goons hardly better than the low-lifes they invited into our city.

They have given their campaign contributors free land and even public streets upon which to erect the overbuilt stuccoed monstrosities that have swallowed up the historic downtown. Are they even ashamed? Hell, no, they are proud of what they have done and apologize for nothing.

Yes, there is anger; yet, anger tempered by hope. Hope that with a clear, sharp message Fullerton can be relieved of the dead hand of an ancient and corrupt regime. That message of hope is being delivered by the Fullerton Recall campaign.

You are all welcome to share that hope. And be assured: the winter of discontent will give way to a new year and spring of accountability and responsibility on the part of Fullerton’s elected representatives.

  1. As a proud leader of the recall of ’94, when blogs were few and far between, I could not be prouder of those contributors working to make Fullerton a better place and making this recall happen. I am very thankful for Tony, Chris and so many others for carrying the torch for those us who have been there, and done that. Thanks is too small a word for my appreciation.

      1. I am a proud Republican who opposed Travis and his extreme positions and would do it again. I am so hapy Dan and Joe are now secure and that Travis will be wondering the streets asking “WHY?” Perhaps the total disregard to the people of Fullerton is the answer but it is really only the beginning. Looking forward to December, 4, 2012.

        1. You must be “hapy”.
Now Flory has two little bitches, to do her bidding. This City will not move forward, only backward. Fullerton is a dead City, only 50+ bars. We will soon join the other Cities that have gone bankrupt. So you go ahead and feel proud.

          1. Lets see…

We have Gin Floozy, Dopey Doug, Twoface Greg, The Church Lady with a questionable background who will do anything to prevent it from getting out and at the very end Bruce Whitaker.

Common sense is outnumbered 4 to 1. God help us all.

I have a feeling FPOA thugs like “John Murray” will pack up their loot and head for Canada or even south america when the country collapses under the weight of pensions and public employee unions.

              1. *points and laughs* …that is rich. Art Weichmann, Greg Diamond and now John Murray, all taking a stab at defending this cesspool of buffoonery called Fullerton.

  2. A very Happy Thanksgiving to all of you.

Today is a day to not only give thanks but to reflect and understand true gratitude. It’s also a day to appreciate what we have and not dwell on what we don’t. No matter how aware many of us were about the homeless, we’ve learned a bit more about the have-nots. It does put things in a better perspective, doesn’t it?

I fond of saying there is always a positive in any negative. We’ve had such sadness, turmoil, grief, angst, frustration and of course, loss. But while this has split some in our city, this also brought people together without gender, racial, age or political barriers. Since the Recall began, I have met some wonderful people and made lifelong friends. For this, I’m very thankful. Elle, Chris, Tony and others, thank you! It’s amazing how different we all are yet have touched each other with great friendship and kindness.

I hope to get to know more of you here and having said that, I’m also thankful for this blog. Uncensored, unedited and open for all, pro and con.

Here’s to another great Thanksgiving Day and may you all have new memories and things to be thankful for!

  3. Thanks to FFFF and everyone in Fullerton and elsewhere who stood up to demand justice for a murdered man. Thanks for disregarding differences among us to focus on defending the least powerful among us.

  4. Beautifully said, Tony. Happy Thanksgiving to the whole Fullerton crew. I am grateful for all that you do to shine light on the cockroaches of government, and make them scurry. Keep up the work!

  5. Tony, I’d like to wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving! I’m so grateful for all of the kindness and the generosity that you show towards the homeless and the mentally ill.

I’m thankful that there are still people like you in the world who treat those who are less fortunate with nothing but the greatest of respect, dignity and kindness. You have helped to restore my hope.

I’m grateful to you for providing us all with this forum where we can share our ideas and express our anger, as we grieve for the loss of Kelly Thomas’ life.

Kelly was mentally ill and homeless; Kelly was vulnerable and he needed professional care. Kelly didn’t receive help or compassion from our public servants; instead he was mercilessly beaten to death.

Kelly Thomas, and so many others, have been brutally and senselessly tortured, beaten and murdered- by some of the very same men who have sworn to protect and serve us.

If it were not for Tony, and FFFF, there is no doubt in my mind that Kelly’s murder would have remained hidden far behind the blue line.

Thank you Tony, for working so hard every day to bring the ugly, ugly truth out into the open and exposing it to the light of day.

The first step towards change is knowledge.

  6. Thanks for your efforts Tony. It hasn’t escaped many that you’ve been carrying a heavy burden lately. Those creative personal attacks by the entrenched establishment must try the spirit at times. Nevertheless, you have remained credible while displaying great courage under fire. Even your detractors have to respect that.

    1. Everything StormHarbor said, Tony. You are truly a decent man and from I’ve seen, you treat people with kindness and have a good heart. Your real friends (count me as one) believe in you and are not swayed by the slander and libel. Sour grapes make bitter wine. Let them choke on it.

  7. Admin, you have produced a wonderful site, where citizens, not only from Fullerton, but other cities can write in support of your ideals, which are the values of our Constitution and in the manner of Thomas Paine.

You are a great and true citizen Admin, keep up the work of Freedom my friend! 🙂

  8. Thanks to all, especially Tony the founder of this blog-who takes alot of unfounded heat-thanks to your tenacity regardless..we all need (even those in other cities) to know what is going on behind the scenes of those that are chosen to represent us in government and should be thankful when someone rips off the covers and reveals truth-that is courage.

Generousity with action for change so others (not just self) don’t have to deal with distress, torture, or punishing harm at the hands of the power hungry government antagonizers-that is heart.

Someone has to lead the fight to right the wrong-gathering a team of supporters, and using words, finding out details that would have been swept under the rug if your investigation and sheer street smarts hadn’t looked into things and brought the results to everyone’s attention-that is Brain.

Thanks to your accomplishments, endeavors, and elbow grease-Im proud to be a Bushala Bully!

    Keep on, keeping on 🙂

  9. The pen is mightier than the sword. Tony we are in this thing for the long haul. Good always prevails in the long run so we shall. The demonic realm feeds on fear. May they have cleaness of teeth. The future of freedom in this land is an amalgamation of courageous efforts . Happy thanksgiving to all and long live the republic

  10. Admin,
My heartfelt thanks for all of the kindness and civilty that you have brought into Fullerton. Your un-selfish and courageous actions have made this a far better and safer town for my children to grow up in.

  11. Yes excellent commentary by the writer.

This is happening all over the country in one form or another.

The beautiful thing about a blog like this is the crooks in power HATE it to no end. It’s great to be able to cause them the slightest bit of grief.

They are finally getting some of their own medicine.

Even greater it’s just not the local folks that are reading it, it’s the world.

  12. Thanks to all admin and contributors, please continue to keep the light on for us in Fullerton and for those all over the world.

  13. Thanks for all that you do in shedding light were darkness parked itself for sometime. Thanks for the information that flows daily and hopefully you have succeeded in opening minds up. Always remembering, it all starts locally.
Happy Turkey day and all that follows.

  14. “Richard:
Now is the winter of our discontent
    Made glorious summer by this son of York;
And all the clouds that low’r’d upon our house
In the deep bosom of the ocean buried.
Richard The Third Act 1, scene 1, 1–4
A great tragedy because it delves into the psyche of an illegitimate ruler and his henchmen who sell their soul for petty power and a chunk of change causing horrific damage to the kingdom(Fullerton) and its people.

  15. Well, it’s the day after Thanksgiving, and I overlooked this thread yesterday, but it is never too late to be thankful. There is much to be thankful for in my own life, and I am, but Freedom and Justice have always been very dear to me. I’m thankful for Tony B. and all his crew of close supporters who built and maintain this site and brought the plight of the Thomas family to the rest of the world. Not living in Fullerton I’ve never met Mr. Bushala, but have correspond with someone who has. That person’s firsthand observations of Bushala were pretty open and impressed me. From what I understood: Tony Bushala is a very real, down to earth, honestly humane, decent man. It would be an honor to ever meet him face-to-face. His detractors in Fullerton only make themselves smaller, not he. I’m thankful there are still folks who remind us of the strength our forefathers showed in fighting for truth, liberty, and justice. Thank you Mr. Bushala, all those who help you with this site, and all who post here keeping the fight for Justice for Kelly alive.

“The battle, Sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave.” Patrick Henry

I am thankful for the vigilant, the active, the brave people in Fullerton who are now ‘heard’ ’round the world. Bless you all.

    1. Yes, Tony Bushala has created the blog read “round” the world because it links our town’s follies, foibles and faith for a better future to other towns and cities that suffer fools

  16. Tony – once again, thanks for hosting this site. For the small people (in social status) who don’t have a voice you have given them an opportunity to be heard far and wide. Sometimes profanely, sometimes profoundly, sometimes neurotically – the voice of the people is what makes this country that “beacon of light on a hill” for the rest of the planet.

I wish I could help in a big way for the homeless and mentally ill in Fullerton, but as Matt 18:20 tells us, in spirit we’re all on the same page.

Thanks for helping those who can’t help themselves.

  17. I am thankfull that there are only about 20 ffffers who even care! This post has been up since the 25th and there are only 24 post some are duplicate! Ya keep up the fight NO one care! Or should I say NO Fullerton resident cares!!

    1. The only people that care about body counts are military, law enforcement, and mass murderers. Which are you?

This thread is about the recall, not Kelly Thomas’ murder. Take your fake outrage over to some blog that actually cares, like http://tinyurl.com/todaysoutrage. Asswipe!

  18. Fafafuey :I am thankfull that there are only about 20 ffffers who even care! This post has been up since the 25th and there are only 24 post some are duplicate! Ya keep up the fight NO one care! Or should I say NO Fullerton resident cares!!

    Exactly!!

  19. Two weeks after Election Day, a winner is declared for the third seat.

Tony, you should be real proud of yourself for failing. You no longer own the City of Fullerton’s city council.

  20. This thanksgiving I’m thankful for the people of Fullerton who stepped up and kicked Keeger’s sorry ass out of his seat. The people have spoken. All the lies and bullshit spewed through the bogus mailers wasn’t enough.

Fuck you Travis, Tony, Bruce, and you too Chris Thompson!

    Happy Turkey Day!

      1. That’s funny Fred! I think i hear your mom calling you to put down the video game and come out of the basement to have some turkey.

    1. Sort of appropriate that an old hen like Jan Flory won the election for a city council seat on turkey day.

I’m still amused (pardon the pun) of the visual of the Fullerton Police Department who contributed almost $50,000.00 to Jan Flory’s campaign, “hiding behind mama Flory’s mumu” in the near future:

      Thanks Nomad.

    2. So they won the third seat. You would think they be happy. But reality sinks in, and they remember that their fellow cops will soon be sentenced. It’s a bitter pill to swallow. They will forever know the truth, and will suffer for the rest of their lives knowing that the bad cops will be put away! They can dig their own graves, I don’t care. Soon Fullerton will realize that FPD needs to be kicked out of this city.

Happy Thanksgiving to all, except the haters and trolls that think people here believe anything they say.

  21. again, my deep respect and gratitude for Tony Bushala, Chris thompson and Travis Kiger. These three men reflect the good people of fullerton. Led, encouraged and supported by Bushala, Thompson and Kiger, the good people of Fullerton are emerging from the tyranny of Fullerton’s old regime of Bankhead, Jones and McKinley and their cronies/sycophants .

No more shout downs from fullerton city council member Jones.
No more pleas of a “positive blogsite about fullerton city council members ” from Pam Keller.
No more retired fullerton police chief and fullerton city council member diverting tax $ from city of fullerton’s coffers to pay off the victims of his “police force”, the Fullerton PD.
No more yea votes for illegal water tax .
No more unconditional acceptance expected from the good people of Fullerton from Fullerton city council paid “experts” who absolve same council and Fullerton PD of any wrong doing.
No more “mind-mixer” propaganda ad hoc homeless task forces that merely spin positive propaganda about Fullerton’s municipal government and its police force while claiming the good people of fullerton killed Kelly thomas with their “indifference” instead of the fullerton PD.
No more corrupt , nanny state, government equals more representative government.
I am grateful for Bushala, Thompson and Kiger’s heroism and for the good people of fullerton who fought and still fight for the rights of the individual and thus the law of our nation.

    1. And, Van Get It Da Artiste, hopefully people will start realizing that uncooperative mentally ill people are not disposable, expendable people, no matter how much patience and tolerance it takes to interact with them.

      1. Elaine, as a Fullerton lifer, I know most of Fullerton’s community have compassion and tolerance for the mentally ill, especially the homeless ones.
Fullerton Police Chief Pat McKinley was “only following the orders” of then Fullerton city council to clean up downtown Fullerton.
And McKinley’s leadership of the Fullerton PD devolved a police force that intended to serve and protect the public into his personal commando squad.
Once elected Fullerton city councilperson after his long stint as police chief (1993-2009), McKinley protected his personally groomed commando squad with legal settlements to Fullerton PD’s victims.
Why McKinley, Jones, Bankhead offered the faher of Kelly thomas a million tax dollars in exchange for Fullerton PD beating his son to death.
What horrific civic leaders the good people of fullerton have had to tolerate until the recall of same vile, civic leaders.

    1. I don’t know van, a lot of what you post seems to be presented as fact. When did you start putting that “only my opinion” BS after your posts? Can any of you defend yourselves on liable cases without Tony’s money? Aren’t you in danger of losing property or career opportunities? Do you think Tony will stick up for you, or rat your out if it gets too hot?

      1. “Can any of you defend yourselves on liable cases” I guess we could ask you the same thing…..Really Flory and Chaffee….Let’s watch them distroy Fullerton. We can take bets….Time for a boycott of the City Council meetings. Sorry that old cunt makes me vomit…

        1. Sorry? ha ha ha. Oh that’s rich.

I feel like I’m back in elementary school.

Van, you see… you and some of your friends (excluding cg here) are like a bunch of pissed off kids with better vocabularies. We are all glad you are learning to express yourself cg. Keep up the good work.

For many, they don’t read your concerns about unions.. they see that pissed off crazy people want to be in charge of Fullerton. They don’t see past that.

I know, I know.. I’m full of it.

Well, I’ve got to go back to the real world and be responsible.

Hope to see you at the Pint House for a beer!

      2. History buff, what are the elements of libel? Thousands of people, every day write comments in response to stories found in newspapers who don’t claim its their opinion. yet no one confuses these opinions with the articles found in newspapers. recently the OC Weekly implied the city of yorba linda was populated by racists. Unless explicitly stated as fact, it is implied as opinion. Thousands of people write comments on blog sites and this is considered opinion. I state my opinion because it is my opinion. If I didn’t state “my opinion” it is still my opinion

        1. The OC Weekly is a wonderful publication full of prostitutes and pot houses. A very upscale publication like this blog.

You are funny.. and sorry.. don’t know who margo is.. do you think you know who I am? I doubt it.

If you are who Tony says you are.. then you should be very worried about your journalistic career.

When this starts to all unravel it will be very amusing watching how you all behave.

I personally think you should all kick it up a notch.

I’ve got no skin in the game.. Fun to get all your dander up… you have such thin skins.

Thousands don’t comment here.. only tens… over and over again.

It’s good to keep all the little rats in one place so they can all be swept away at once.

After a little research, I still don’t know who Margo is.. perhaps you can give us all a little more of your opinion on this person.. we are all waiting to know what you have to say.

This anonymous blog commenting is fun.

Fullerton’s got a bunch of nutty rats. Tony, you certainly know how to put out the bait to round them all up in one place.. I’ve got to hand it to you.

Thanks for the material for my next dinner party!

          1. “Thousands don’t comment here.. only tens… over and over again.” History buff, do you believe only a few people make comments on this blog, and even less read these comments?

            1. You can count the commenters here van. It’s not that difficult – and I would think many many people read this blog. It’s like the Jerry Springer show. He makes a living inviting intelligent commenters on his show.

              The term tens is not saying ten.. it’s saying 10, 20 30.. Just not 1000, 2000, 3000.

If there were thousands of anonymous commenters on this blog, there’d be real trouble in Fullerton. Fortunately for everyone, the people like you are limited to tens.

You see.. the people of Fullerton fear you more than they fear Jan Flory or her alleged powers to tip the conservative council majority and deliver fabulous pensions to the terrible city workers.

Seriously.. if you want to make a change in Fullerton, you need a new paint job. But I know you don’t agree. There are union thugs around us all and you are hopping mad about it. We can hear the spit spewing from your mouth when you scream.

Most of your antagonists are a hoot too. They aren’t doing their cause much better.. but they are an even smaller minority on this blog.

              Comedy at its finest.

If you had a video feed, you could compete with the Jerry Springer show. Think about it before Tony’s money runs out.

Come on down to the Pint House.. you may see me there. I’m there a lot. I’ll buy you a beer.

              1. history buff, what do the people of Fullerton specifically fear about me, or this blogsite, or the other bloggers on this site whom you accuse of being financially supported by Tony Bushala?
You correctly state that after posting your comments on this blog , you must return to the real world.
I agree with you, this is just a blogging site where people express their thoughts on whatever topic.
“Comedy at is finest” you definitely got that right. The parodies abound on FFFF. And this is why people read this blog and respond with their own comments.
History buff, after you down your beer in realityville, blog some more on this site. We will all get a good laugh from it

                1. …I especially liked the pretzel logic of history buff’s earlier post…

“I know, I know.. I’m full of it.

Well, I’ve got to go back to the real world and be responsible.

Hope to see you at the Pint House for a beer!”

          2. History buff, you are saying the OC Weekly and the FFFF are just fluff media, meant only to entertain with their provocativeness ? So, if I correctly read your comments, FFFF like OC Weekly is not informative in nature?

      3. If you were actually a history buff, you should know more about “sedititious libel” (not liable)and should try to better understand it’s role in helping to form the 1st amendment to the constitution.

  22. I give thanks to people like Tony who put their money where their mouths are. Not to be a puppetmaster but to try and improve the city we all live in and love.

    1. Minor setbacks are prevalent in the long drawn out battles for justice, righteousness and individual freedoms. Mr. Bushala is to be commended and prayed for in the days ahead as one door has closed and a multitude will be opening. Thank you Tony, Travis, Bruce, Chris, and all of the other hard working awake people with a desire for a better tomorrow for this town. I can tell you where we would be without their best efforts. Happy Thanksgiving to all those that stay the course and have a part of a better Fullerton’s Future.

  23. As President, on October 3, 1789, George Washington made the following proclamation speech and created the first Thanksgiving Day designated by the national government of the United States of America:

The his speech’s “infamy” line is often misquoted as “a day that will live in infamy”. However, Washington quite deliberately chose to emphasize the election date—December 7, 1621—rather than the day of the Plymouth Plantation famine, a Sunday, which he mentioned only in the last line when he said, “…Sunday, December 7th, 1621,…”. He sought to emphasize the historic nature of the events at left liberal Plymouth Plantation, implicitly urging the American people never to forget the famine caused by the pilgrim socialists and memorialize its date. Ironically, the misquoted term “day of infamy” has become widely used by the people to refer to any moment of supreme disgrace or evil of the left liberal socialism.

    1. Stanley,

I’d like to add a historical footnote to your comment about George Washington’s role regarding the Thanksgiving holiday.

While it’s true that George Washington was the U.S. President that created the Thanksgiving holiday, it was Abraham Lincoln, who in an effort to unite the country as one after the Civil War, declared that Thanksgiving would be officially celebrated in the United States on the fourth Thursday of every November.

  24. Kiger falling shows that there is still enough wise people left in Fullerton who cant be bought out by a slum lord. Thank God and happy Thanksgiving.

    1. The sad part is that the electorate was intimidated by their own police force bullying them into voting for a city council candidate of THEIR choice.

        1. I’m curious how you would characterize the police and fire unions here in Fullerton spending countless hours throughout the summer at the city council meetings, spend $50,000.00 of their dues, and drive around town for a month in a huge black truck pulling a trailer spreading fear, uncertainty, and doubt, in the local population?

And remember that these are the very same officers that the residents here in Fullerton would be dependent on to protect them in case of an emergency?

          1. Fullerton Lover :
I’m curious how you would characterize the police and fire unions here in Fullerton spending countless hours throughout the summer at the city council meetings, spend $50,000.00 of their dues, and drive around town for a month in a huge black truck pulling a trailer spreading fear, uncertainty, and doubt, in the local population?

Oh, I don’t know. Probably the same as I’d characterize Booshala for spending several hundred thousand dollars for doing the same thing.

  25. AntiCorruptionUnit :
Yes excellent commentary by the writer.

I would have to add when dealing with hostile wayward groups like Extremists, you really really dont want them to scatter and host somewheres else.

“The United States Oath of Allegiance (officially referred to as the “Oath of Allegiance,” 8 C.F.R. Part 337 (2008)) is an oath that must be taken by all immigrants who wish to become United States citizens. The first officially recorded Oaths of Allegiance were made on May 30, 1778 at Valley Forge, during the Revolutionary War.

The current oath is as follows:

I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law; and that I take this obligation freely without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God.”

    Glibness and Superficial Charm

    Manipulative and Conning

  26. The biggest difference I see between the money Bushala invested in Fullerton and what the unions invested is that the beneficiaries of his largess don’t negotiate and approve his income and benefits. Whom is actually buying whom? Whar a gross conflict of interest.

    1. No, Bushala, as a large property owner in Fullerton, would never benefit from anything the City Council would do, would he?

      1. OK. When and where has he gotten anything from council candidates he supports? They (all of the council members) repealed the illegal water franchise fee. What else? Flory has distinguished herself by approving a RETROACTIVE pension package increase last time she graced us with her presence. While the bald tires have moved on, the sad old retread has returned to screw the Fullerton taxpayers every which way she can and you can bet the unions will get their moneys worth.

        1. I will tell you what he got from the council he supported. Fireworks. Who do you think funded the recall? Not TB, TNT. Wake up people!

          1. Well OK then, all his thousands gave the sports groups the opportunity to fund their programs with those awful fireworks. If that was it why didn’t he just give them the money. What a lame response.

            1. No, maybe you don’t quite understand. Did you know that the TNT firework company has distribution center here in fullerton? Guess who owns that building. If you guessed TB you would be correct. So who’s best interest was “the council” looking out for when that item just happened to be the FIRST item the new council talked about. They (Bruce, Travis, Greg) ran on a platform of anti “big” government and transparancy, yet the first item on their agenda was to make sure the person who funded their campaign was taken care of. How much money do you think TNT paid TB to get those wheels in motion? The idea that bringing back fireworks would allow sports groups to raise money maybe the reason they gave the public to put the measure on the ballot, but that’s not the REAL reason. C’mon, TB is a business man and is in it to MAKE money. It was dirty politcs the whole time.

How do you explain this one; Travis doesn’t want to take a gov’t grant for $150 k to fund DUI checkpoints in the city. His reason? If you listen to him at council meetings it is because “it violates the 4th amendment AND its’s just a scam so the Police can just make overtime”. Just a scam? His distain for cops almost cost the city nearly $400 k in federal grant money to be used to combat drunk driving in a city that has 50+ bars. If the council was so hell bent on “cleaning up” the downtown area then how com they didn’t do anything about the bars when they had a chance? Because fireworks were more important, that’s why.
Yet Travis puts out a mailer where he and his daughter are standing next to a fire engine and he states he supports public safety. That is a bold face lie, but he is a politician and would do anything to be reelected.

Why do Bruce and Travis call themselves Republicans? They’re not they are Libertarians, but it’s convienient to call themselves Republican because that’s their best chance to be reelected by predominately Republican Fullerton who they hope didn’t do their homework and will just vote by party lines.

All this orchetrated and funded by TNT and TB. Don’t let them fool you by saying they are doing what’s best for the citizens. They are doing what’s best for TB’s agenda.

              1. How do you explain this one; Travis doesn’t want to take a gov’t grant for $150 k to fund DUI checkpoints in the city. His reason? If you listen to him at council meetings it is because “it violates the 4th amendment AND its’s just a scam so the Police can just make overtime”.

And he’s right. Thanks for pointing this out.

                Just a scam?

Yes. The bars make money off getting people drunk and the police make money in overtime, federal grants and fines detaining the drunks.

Here’s a novel idea: Close the bars then you won’t have a need for checkpoints and the tax payers will save a hell of a lot of money in overtime pay.

His distain for cops almost cost the city nearly $400 k in federal grant money to be used to combat drunk driving in a city that has 50+ bars.

Those federal grants just don’t come out of thin air. It comes from the tax payers as well.

If the council was so hell bent on “cleaning up” the downtown area then how com they didn’t do anything about the bars when they had a chance?

The council isnt, that is the problem. Only Travis and Bruce support the idea of cleaning up that idea, the rest don’t.

                They’re outnumbered 3 to 2.

Hell, when they tried to inquire about how much the Orange County Sheriff’s Department would cost, they were voted down.

Why do Bruce and Travis call themselves Republicans?

Because they’re real republicans not this whimpy, bible thumping, WWE variety that has overtaken the republican party.

All this orchetrated and funded by TNT and TB.

Post proof. Campaign contributions are part of public record.

              2. “Did you know that the TNT firework company has distribution center here in fullerton? Guess who owns that building. If you guessed TB you would be correct. ”

                That is a bold-faced lie.

    1. They are treated the same as….you may want to divert your eyes CCCB princess, I am going to cuss, F’n lowest of the low.

  27. Again I have to ask, TB invested $300K+ on recall and elections, he could have given TNT free rent for 10 years and still had $50K to give to the sports groups, where does he benefit from the council majority?

      1. Just keep drinking the cool aid

Just keep churning out those clichés, its not your fault that you’re poorly educated and have a limited vocabulary.

  28. Just because a troll here says TB spent $300K+, doesn’t mean it’s true. Provide proof asshole!

      1. It’s a shame when someone has to spend that much to oppose a corrupt FPD & city council. Money well spent. The police union spent more money trying to protect their wallets.

        1. Thank you CCCB. There is your proof. TNT was behind measure X. So now that you see the proof your response is “money well spent”.

So you don’t care what the truth is, you’re views won’t change no matter what you are shown. Like I said before, keep drinking the cool aid.

BTW, your turn to prove the police union spent MORE than TB. Go ahead show me.

      2. Why do you care what TB spent? The FPD should be more concerned, what the rest of the residents feel about them. BTW I think the FPD sucks……NO HONOR, NO ETHICS……Can you fix that….Does the truth hurt?

            1. I’m sure many have been harassed by FPD or other police gangs. I wonder what happened to that OCTA bus driver who released the video and stood with ron at many protests?

            1. I love how you’re indifferent to human suffering just like a good little nazi thug. This is very common of law enforcement types.

              This country is so screwed.

  29. Goodness, when logic leads to the correct conclusion your only response is to be a potty mouth! What would your mother say?

  30. The pathetic defense of Ciscinelli and Ramos will have their motions denied Friday. Looking forward to a trial date.

  31. hey Kiger..just saw a few of your sign’s up they on the corner of Orangethorpe and Lemon…you know… where Nick Adenhrdt was killed by a drunk driver…. and arent you against DUI check points??? but yet you can put a sign there …you are a sick little man…well not your concern anymore now that you will no longer have a voice…that is unless you run back to Tony to try and buy your way back in!!! you are a pathetic coward that cant even show up to your last council meeting!!!

    1. and arent you against DUI check points???

Why are you meathead thugs always for the countless bars that litter downtown fullerton and create the DUIs?

Oh right because those checkpoints generate revenue (ie overtime and federal grants).

You’ve got a nice racket going.

  32. Its 52 bars in downtown Fullerton, not countless bars, Rhodes! The bars can be counted especially on weekends, and you can see a lot of folks who are partially or totally inebriated getting into their cars and driving home. Rarely are they stopped by FPD and FPOA members because the bar and restaurant owners have more clout than FPD in what gets enforced. So we do not like Kelly types around our bars, but drunks are ok.

    1. And if all those drunks were getting stopped you’d be screaming about FPD violating their civil rights and initiating stops without probable cause.

      1. if all those drunks were getting stopped you’d be screaming about FPD violating their civil rights

See what I mean, meathead thugs like CCCB do not want to want to talk about shutting down those bars. Its always about the DUIs not the bars.

They can’t make overtime stopping DUIs if those bars go away.

        1. The reason Tony bushalla aka Travis Kiger wants the water tax money paid back to Fullerton residence, is because he’s one of the biggest recipients of the refund. with all the rental property he owns, he is looking to get paid!!

          1. They will talk about everything and anything except for closing those bars.

Me: Those bars create the DUIs. Why isnt this talked about?

Them: HEY LOOK OVER THERE! TONY BUSHALA!!!! …He uhh umm… he rents property and uhhh… makes money …and thats baaad! WHOOOO! LIT!!! YEAAAA * hiccup* AAAH!!!!

As least Tony isn’t putting millions of Orange County residents at risk by turning hundreds of drunks loose on the streets during the weekends.

Less than a year ago, Ron Thomas’s truck got smashed up by some drunk who just left the FPD’s headquarters. Gee I wonder where Mr Drunky was before he got to the FPD station?

Every damn weekend I see a story on the news about some god awful wreck in orange county and can’t help but wonder if they came from Fullerton. Of course, I can’t rely on the good little toadies at the OC Register to investigate due to the massive cronyism and corruption within the paper.

  33. Revolution doesn’t, has NEVER come without one group starting off being angry and fed up.
What the detractors want is more years of milquetoast mediocrity, with no fiscal or moral accountability.
Yes, it was nice for a long time because everyone decided to IGNORE everything. And while it was easy, and nice, it didn’t make it right.
The corruption in the police department, the ridiculous amounts we pay out on pensions, the amount we’ve had to cut from things that could benefit the masses as opposed to the few, are real and the ultimate proof of the sloth that was masked under the years of “happy.”
