I’d just leave that as-is. Says everything.

desperate people do desperate things
#3 by The Fullerton Harpoon on June 2, 2012
Hell, you didn’t think they’d go quietly did you? Ackerman and Bennett have too much to lose.
#4 by Anonymous on June 2, 2012
i hope the people o f fullerton get off their asses
and vote yes on recall
#5 by Anonymous on June 2, 2012
I keep seeing more and more “Reject the Recall” signs up. They hit Bastanchury pretty good these last few days.
#6 by For the record on June 4, 2012
Kudos to whomever countered with the stenciled RECALL (Checkbox) signs on the telephone posts on Bastanchury. Well done.
#7 by Eye Spy on June 2, 2012
I saw Tony taking down his signs and staging that photo yesterday!
#8 by Curious on June 2, 2012
Eye Spy a lying sack of crapola.

#10 by nipsey on June 2, 2012
Yeah it’s too bad everybody doesn’t have phones with cameras on them to back up their crazy nonsense. What do you think this is, the ’90s?
#11 by Orange Cape Hides Me on June 2, 2012
…the lack of ethics is why their sorry-asses are being bounced from office.
Its pervasive in every area of their lives, including how they have conducted their recall campaign
#12 by SherBear on June 2, 2012
OCHM says it all and says it well.
I’m currently at the office making calls and taking a break. Of the live responses I’m getting, all are in support of the recall. I haven’t had a “no” response yet.
#13 by cg on June 2, 2012
No signs in our neighborhood at all. Real quiet on the West side. People are keeping to themselves and their opinions to themselves. Sure makes me wonder.
#14 by downtown fan on June 2, 2012
classic…thats funny….the recall has run out of gas…
#15 by DQ on June 2, 2012
I think not! These losers are almost out the door!
#16 by cg on June 2, 2012
OH! we have gas, on the West side of Fullerton, you know the gas i am talkin about. “Silent but deadly” We will linger for awhile. “YES ON RECALL”..
#17 by Anonymous on June 2, 2012
how many votes needed for the recall
#18 by Snakes on June 2, 2012
They only need one.
#19 by jays a killer on June 2, 2012
just one?
#20 by Snakes on June 2, 2012
The recall could pass 1-0 with a yes vote.
#21 by Anonymous on June 3, 2012
We need every vote possible! If you don’t vote Tuesday you are doing yourself a disservice and all of Fullerton. We will lose if you stay home and it will get worse in Fullerton.
#22 by Marlena on June 2, 2012
It’s all happening.
Yes on the Recall…
Yes on Justice for Kelly Thomas…
#23 by Anonymous on June 2, 2012
Yes on Marlena’s tits!

1. Visit sporting goods store.
2. Post signs in nice tasty spot.
3. Wait someplace inconspicuous.
4. Fun!
#26 by One for the books on June 2, 2012
How many elections have ever been influenced by some ridiculous signs?!?!?! In this case, GOOD LUCK to the opposition!!
#27 by Joe Blow on June 2, 2012
I hadn’t been to Fullerton in a couple months, but was driving through today. I noticed a lot of the signs were knocked down w/ only the No on Recall signs left standing.
#28 by cg on June 2, 2012
FPD, has been busy at night, bored.
#29 by jerry on June 2, 2012
THE FPD IS DESPERATE TO SILENCE THE RECALL. EXPECT MORE KELLY THOMAS EXAMPLES IF YOU GO OUT TO VOTE. IT’S SAD BUT THE CROOKED COPS OWN THIS CITY AND THE RESIDENTS. IT’S LIKE A PLANTATION THE FPD ARE OUR LORDS AND MASTERS.

YOU ARE SUCH A LIAR,,,YOU OUGHT TO BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF!!!!!!
#34 by streets of fullerton on June 2, 2012
6:35 saw a man clipping the ties on a recall banner at the Harbor boulevard overpass.I asked told him” isn’t that ileagal.” He said that that that was trespassing to be there(even though there is a sidewalk going to the park) and kept on clipping the ties with wire cutters. Saw him peal out in a blue pick up truck and wrote the licence plate number down and filed a police report at the department.
#35 by Fullerton Lover on June 3, 2012
Good job streets of fullerton. Don’t match wits with the idiots and start tearing their signs down also.
Way to take the higher road.
#36 by Steve Brow on June 3, 2012
You might want to file directly tothe DA on that one.
#37 by TimeWillTell on June 3, 2012
Like Larry Bennett did?
#38 by SherBear on June 3, 2012
They didn’t just remove it, they took. That’s theft. And with a witness who got his plate number. Classic! Does anyone not know the meaning of idiot? lol
#39 by Plain Glazed on June 3, 2012
Doubtful the police will do anything, since its probably one of their own employees tearing down the signs.
#40 by JustUs on June 2, 2012
What do the internal polls say on the recall vote? There must have been some polling? Somebody give us the lowdown.
#41 by Fullerton Lover on June 3, 2012
JustUs,
This very encouraging quote was from mi amiga SherBear…
“I’m currently at the office making calls and taking a break. Of the live responses I’m getting, all are in support of the recall. I haven’t had a “no” response yet”.
#42 by SherBear on June 3, 2012
Thanks, mi amigo. I’ve been here an hour and a half already and still getting a yes from the live responses. Come down!
#43 by Richard Nixon on June 3, 2012
Staged by the same type of people who would sent out misleading mailers. The night of the long sowards is coming hail to Tony. His newly elected court shall crown him King.
#44 by The Fullerton Harpoon on June 3, 2012
What is a “long soward?”
#45 by Champion Master on June 3, 2012
Self centered fools without proper grounding are always their worst enemy!
#46 by Chris on June 3, 2012
I wouldn’t be surprised at all if some off-duty FPD cops were doing this. Heck, in the middle of the night maybe some ON DUTY cops are doing it. The level of corruption in Fullerton is stunning. You could make a movie about it. Actually, someday someone probably will. The whole freaking city is corrupt. A rogue police department operating as hired thugs, with corrupt politicians running things with backroom deals.
#47 by Champion Master on June 3, 2012
Dont forget the many obviously hinky Citizens!
Its like Fullerton is one giant Mental Facility!
#48 by John Doe on June 3, 2012
Chris..why are you so paranoid? The cops think you are all a bunch of idiots. Kelly’s mob is entertainment for them.
#49 by TimeWillTell on June 4, 2012
Unlike you Chris, off-duty police officers have a life.
#50 by Hog Wild on June 3, 2012
Tony,
Disappointed that you are allowing people on this blog to say the officers are killers when they have not been convicted of anything. Whatever happened to the word alleged?
May we call Ron Thomas a LIAR for what he has said?
#51 by Concerned Texan on June 3, 2012
Cicinelli said in his own words that he “smashed Kelly’s face to hell.” Kelly died from injuries he sustained to his body and especially his face. Therefore, Cicinelli admitted to the murder and there is no need to use the word alleged.
#52 by Fullerton Lover on June 3, 2012
An alleged incident is an event that is said to have taken place but has not yet been verified. In their zeal to protect the rights of the accused, newspapers and law enforcement officials sometimes misuse alleged. Someone arrested for murder may be only an alleged murderer, for example, but is a real, not an alleged, suspect in that his or her status as a suspect is not in doubt. Similarly, if the money from a safe is known to have been stolen and not merely mislaid, then we may safely speak of a theft without having to qualify our description with alleged.
#53 by Steve Brow on June 3, 2012
It might also be their zeal not to be sued.
#54 by Hollis Dugan on June 3, 2012
Hog Wild, in case you are the last to hear it is undisputed the police killed Kelly. You are referring to an entirely different subject, the criminal justice system, and whether or not they are convicted of killing him illegally.
#55 by John Doe on June 3, 2012
It’s undisputed by Kelly’s Army and they are nothing!!
#56 by Steve Brow on June 3, 2012
The government can not deprive a citizen of life, liberty, nor property without due process of law. Therefore, one is considered innocent until proven guilty under due process. Untill then, charges are officially considered only allegations under due process. The mainstream press often refer to themselves as the fourth branch of government and use verbiage that honors and supports that role.
Obviously, any allegation begins with an accuser who claims to know the truth of guilt; often very direct and didactic knowledge. To him the charge is not an allegation but a declaraton of truth.
The blogosphere has taken on an intermediary role. It is sort of like sittting on a jury sorting out the truth from the liars on the witness stand, with the jurors’ private thoughts spilling out into the public.
#57 by Fullerton Lover on June 3, 2012
Allegations are just that until they are verified. The allegation of murder was verified by the city owned video camera.
#58 by John Doe on June 3, 2012
It was verified that Kelly was a jerk. He didn’t want to go to jail. Next time listen to the police people.
#59 by jerry on June 3, 2012
THIS WILL GET WORSE. THE CRIMINAL FPD ARE THE REAL BOSSES IN THIS CITY. THE $$$$ THE CORRUPT COPS ARE STEALING FROM US TAXPAYERS AND FROM SHAKEDOWNS ON THE STREETS IS STAGGERING. THEY AINT GOING NOWHERE. SADLY.
#60 by Anonymous on June 3, 2012
Especially if we elect Rands Chaffe and Rowe.
#61 by Fullerton Lover on June 3, 2012
!!!Fullerton Voters!!!
Please don’t forget that current candidate for City Counciman Doug Chaffee, was endorsed by current City Councilman, and ex-Fullerton Police Chief, Patrick McKinley.
A vote for Doug Chaffee is basically an affirmation that you trust and respect what Pat McKinley has decided what’s best for us.
How has that worked out for us in the past?
#62 by Matthew Rowe on June 3, 2012
Anonymous,
A) I’m running against Chaffee, so you can’t elect both of us.
B) Your swipe is only at the non-Teapublicans. It is not grounded in truth, just partisanship…which is not what Fullerton needs.
#63 by Fullerton Lover on June 3, 2012
I am in wholehearted agreement with you on this one Matthew.
I honestly believe that between yourself, Jane Rands, and Barry Levinson, that all of your motives for running for elected office are altruistic, and that Fullerton voters would all be well served with whichever of you is elected…
As long as it’s NOT Doug Chaffee.
#64 by Plain Glazed on June 3, 2012
Exactly right. We are really blessed with some good concerned citizens running for city council for the right reasons.
#65 by jerry on June 3, 2012
SO WHAT! THE DA WILL EARN HIS BRIBES AND MAKE SURE THESE CORRUPT COPS WALK.
#66 by Concerned Texan on June 3, 2012
I respectfully ask that the rest of the FFFF community forgive me the following outburst:
Jerry, SHUT THE FUCK UP!
You are a troll of the worst magnitude, not to mention absolutely crazy. You are most likely one of the many cops who post here using atrocious grammar under various pseudonyms. Your inappropriate use of capital letters is an affront to the memory of FedupwithMorons. I too am fed up with morons such as yourself. I hope that soon your commentary will end up in the spam pile along with all the garbage from “Reality Is.”
#67 by Fullerton Lover on June 3, 2012
Your forgiven. IMHO “jerry” is nothing but a troll that attempts to instill fear, uncertainty, and doubt, or FUD in those of us asserting our civil liberties.
I haven’t seen any posts from “jerry” that suggests otherwise.
#68 by Jane H on June 3, 2012
It’s about time CT! You have always been so polite, but we all have limits.
Instead of trolls, I am now calling them infiltrators, because that’s what they are.
Yes, even I used some foul language a few months back. Of course that’s the reaction they want, but we are human. I don’t know about them though.
#69 by John Doe on June 3, 2012
No we like trolls. It’s easier to spell.
#70 by Fullerton Lover on June 3, 2012
Last time I checked jerry, the legal system provides that either the Judge or the jury that gets to decide whether or not these officers walk.

Doesn’t make one forgive the corrupt cops, but this may help one understand psychologically what makes a cop corrupt.
#76 by merijoe on June 3, 2012
That’s the idea, didn’t understand how some could be so callous and inhuman-this article helps me understand a bit of the thinking of the cop and their peeps.
Of course, no excuse for murdering and torturing.
Many of the points in the article are spot on-especially the dehumanizing of the victim with use of terms use such as “scumbag” and others by cops/friends of theirs, on this blog.
#77 by merijoe on June 3, 2012
This point in the article explains McSinisters Shebear comment that what Rincon did was only inappropriate touching not a good thing but not a dangerous thing:
“Denial of Injury
Because nobody was hurt by the officer’s action, no misconduct actually occurred”
#78 by Steve Brow on June 3, 2012
We have certianly seen a lot of “dehumination” of Kelly Thomas on this blog. We have also seen a lot of “blaming the victim”; Kelly Thomas and his parents. As far as “diffusion of responsability”, all of the other cops were simply coming in to help Manny, and in the end it was the paramedics fault…..right?.
Most sriking is the officer seeing himself as the victim of circumstances. “We ran out of options”, stated Jay.
#79 by John Doe on June 3, 2012
That is the last thing they wanted to do. Wrestle with a stinking bum. He should of stopped fighting.
#80 by Devil's Food on June 4, 2012
Yes John. People who don’t have houses to live in and showers and thus have more body odor than normal deserve to be killed. I suggest you move to a country with death squads and form a fanclub.
#81 by Steve Brow on June 3, 2012
The article concludes the danger of such conduct becoming a culture within a department with the leadership becoming blind to the corruption of the culture.
Does Fullerton now have an acting chief dedicating to cleaning up the culture, or an acting chief denying that there is a culture that needs cleaning?
#82 by Plain Glazed on June 3, 2012
Or perhaps an acting chief trying to not only deny the culture but also to cover up his own role in fostering and encouraging it?
#83 by Orange Cape Hides Me on June 3, 2012
FPD actions make them nothing more than legal gang banger’s since they feels they are above the law.
Rock the vote and make FPD fear the change!
#84 by JERRYS SCARED OF PIGS on June 3, 2012

This happened: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KU0Imk2Bstg
#86 by One for the books on June 3, 2012
Well, let’s take stock of what has happened… AGAIN:
A young, innocent man who was a mentally-ill drifter has lost his life in the most terrible of ways. His family is left in a state of mental anguish and disbelief. The police department has come under huge scrutiny and is no longer trusted by the people it serves. Two officers have been charges with serious crimes by the DA, throwing their lives, and those of their family members, into chaos. The city council has been divided and three of its members are going to be recalled. Worldwide media scrutiny has portrayed a negative view of the city to a massive audience. It will take years for the reputation of the city to be rectified.
All of this due to the actions of one, Mr. Ramos!
#87 by John Doe on June 3, 2012
No you have it wrong.. Thanks to Kelly Thomas. He should of listen to police officers, instead of running and trying to get away.

Sorry delete this post, answered on the wrong thread.
#90 by I POOPED A MATT on June 3, 2012
sebourn not rowe!!!
#91 by Matthew Rowe on June 3, 2012
nice. I’m not running against Sebourn. Do some homework.
#92 by I Eat Greg on June 3, 2012
Beat me to it!
#93 by I Eat Greg on June 3, 2012
Sebourn is running for Bankhead’s seat
Matt is running for McKinley’s seat.
So “sebourn not rowe” doesn’t make any sense.
#94 by Plain Glazed on June 3, 2012
Uh, without even knowing Mr. Sebourn, I would imagine he probably wouldn’t really appreciate the nature of your endorsement. Of course 7- year olds can’t vote so it’s probably irrelevant.
#95 by merijoe on June 3, 2012
This should be very telling to the citizen’s of Fullerton.
By the 3 recallee’s condoning of pulling up of other people’s signs to replace them with lying propaganda shows utter intent to do the wrong thing.
Their only agenda that they care about is not you, it’s to not get recalled and get re elected to office no matter what.
These are not good people-I don’t care what they were awarded for or served in 40 years ago.
That, STOP BUSAHALA, FULLERTON’S NOT FOR SALE sign is ridiculous fantasy and an ignorant use of money. That was the best they could come up with?
Wonder how many of these stupid signs they had printed up.
#96 by concerned on June 3, 2012
its too bad that the anti-recall efforts are a Propaganda campaign, last minute trying to scare people. In the last 24 hours I have heard from friends saying they the police force is going to be disbanded if Tony’s elected “crew” are gotten into City Council. I have also heard that city officials are quitting because of abuse from Kellys Army members harrassing them. Its all flack in the wind trying to scare the voters from acting. I will vote against the three white haired asses, and vote in the people i know will do the right thing for fullerton.
#97 by merijoe on June 3, 2012
That’s shameful.
More lies and more intimidation as the try to victimize citizens, being done by the dictators that roam those buildings on Commanwealth. They underestimated the people of Fullerton. The whole world is watching and in support.
Fight on freedom fighters of Fullerton, you are to legit to quit.
The forefathers and Kelly Thomas would be proud of your courage.
Support in change to Fullerton/recall from lots of folk in America and even abroad.
South county is with you
San Deigo is with you
LA is with you
Fresno is with you
and more cities
Yes, for recall.
#98 by Pissy Pants on June 3, 2012
I voted NO on the recall but if it happens to be a success for certain candidates expect me to show up at council meetings to be as rude and verbally abusive as their little clan has been for the last 10 months. I would like to see how Travis handles someone jumping in his face every meeting. I have alot of questions and overall statements for this guy.
#99 by Fullerton Lover on June 3, 2012
If and when the FPD brutally murders your mentally disabled son or friend in cold blood, I would strongly encourage you to just as upset as Kelly’s friends and family were towards our City Councilman who attempted to minimize and demonize the victim.
In fact, I’d probably be upset with you if you didn’t.
#100 by Steve Brow on June 3, 2012
You might be surprised. You might get a council who reserects a true town hall during comment periods and does not hide behind decorum.
#101 by John Doe on June 3, 2012
Keep dreaming. This town will be so worst off.
#102 by Devil's Food on June 4, 2012
John, if a new city council comes in and fires either you or pretty much anybody you know, hang around with, or might be related to, that would definitely be in the public’s interest. See ya!
#103 by Answer up Sebourn-Levinson-Kiger on June 3, 2012
Is that COPS voters guide misleading or not? We know you read this since you run this “best blog” so answer up………………….pretty please.
#104 by The Grammar Police on June 3, 2012
Mr. Pissy Pants:
Please note that you do not need to utilize the caps lock for words such as “NO” in your sentences – a simple ‘no’ will get your point across just as well.
Also, please make sure to reference who you are speaking about when you make comments about ‘their little clan’. Understand that this can confuse people more than you’d think.
Finally, ‘alot’ is actually two words, spelled ‘A LOT’. Please utilize this correct spelling in the future.
#105 by Rebecca on June 4, 2012
WAIT, so it IS okay to pull signs down? B/C I wanted to take the AnitRecall signs down but was scared.
#106 by The General on June 6, 2012
Rebecca, Thought about it myself, would be plaing into thier game. Have signs all down Placentia Ave (and everywhere else). Let’s see if they take them down after THEY LOST.
