Hamilton Makes It Official: Fullerton Under Attack!

In case you missed it, the City Hall cheerleading Fullerton Stories website did a typical fluff post on the departure of Sylvia Palmer-Mudrick, the person who has been writing all those propaganda press releases that Jackie Brown, Barbara Giasone, and Lou Ponsi have been re-typing under their own names for the past twenty-five years. Good-bye Sylvia, enjoy your pension.

What caught my eye was the remarkable quote by four-month old “Acting” Chief (and soon to be massive pension recipient) Kevin Hamilton, who coughed up this oily hairball:

“Sylvia loves this town with all of her heart. She’s (recently) seen a side of Fullerton she’s never seen before … a town under attack.

“She continues to defend the reputation of this city, and she would give her life for this town,” Hamilton said.

A town under attack? Really?

And just who the in Hell do you think you are you jackass? It was your police force that robbed, beat up, perjured, sexually assaulted, and murdered innocent citizens. How goddam dare you claim that the City is under attack.Your filthy, corrupt department is under attack – by us, the citizens of Fullerton. We are the City, not you and your gang of thugs, hoodlums and pickpockets.

  1. Anybody who thought Hamilton was a good guy can see his true colors. His crooked force can do no wrong. It’s them against us.

And there you have the official mindset; no honesty, no honor, no integrity, no nothing. Nothing but inflated self-interest and the mentality of a self-entitled robber.

    1. Crazy how good Hamilton did last night and how impressed everyone was. With no mention of his known retirement and plans for the new Chief. Wild.

  2. Hamilton shot me a look at last nights council meeting when I mentioned if it had not been for Kelly’s Army and the protests” things would have never changed.. I mean what I say and I say what I mean.

      1. My my my using police/government resources to run background checks into activists and their family members?

That is a new low for your department but not really surprising.

  3. Such a pathetic statement by Hamilton.. He is a breed of cop which the citizens of this city have grown tired of.. Why is it so hard for many in this city to realize that the FPD needs to be disbanded?

  4. “Were LAPD, the most hated COPS in all the free world, My momma even ashamed of me, she tell everybody Im a drug dealer… this a stepping stone…”
-Deputy Inspector Carter LAPD (Chris Tucker) ,
on loan to the FBI, “Rush Hour” movie 1998

  5. We are all propagandizers. Every single one of us. Each and every one of us has an agenda. For good, we hope, but the agenda always exists, always perseveres and never fails us. Our values dictate the extent of the propagandizing, or lack thereof. We are not without the gene to propagandize. The day though determines the extent of our propagandizing.

    Ramble, ramble, ramble….

She seems to be a good writer, but she handled this VERY poorly from a PR standpoint.

  6. I’ve said all along that Hamilton has debilitating narcisstic tendencies. These kind never accept criticism well.

    1. He was a vice detective.

Narcotics, gang and vice officers are the lowest of the low and by nature these officers are corrupt, sexist and racist. They don’t like wearing a uniform and they don’t like playing by any rules.

      1. I watched that asshole strutting through the crowded City Hall lobby during one of the first council meetings after Kelly was murdered. He was looking for a confrontation.

  7. This is the way this bozo and the rest of Ringling Brothers REALLY think.

After they make public statements of policy changes and throw assorted bones out to “calm” everyone down-they hope everyone will forget and the negative attention wont be on them anymore. Its already starting with comments like that.

  8. I believe this blog will be getting a call from internal affairs very soon.. Most likely asking for IP addresses on certain trolls and their family who post on here..

  9. Erin :I believe this blog will be getting a call from internal affairs very soon.. Most likely asking for IP addresses on certain trolls and their family who post on here.. I’ll sit back with my “smelly pussy” and wait..

Because they’re going to do “what” with the IP addresses?

Summer’s Eve, Ugly Erin. Summer’s Eve.

  10. I actually think that Kevin has this situation transposed. What I saw, was the townspeople standing up to the latchkey police force, and the city councilman who enabled them by shielding them from outside scrutiny, in order to protect their own selfish interests and piss on the rest of us.

  11. If fullerton was” under attack” why didn’t bring that issue up ? Why does he wait till he’s walking out the door to make his remarks?

  12. I know for a fact that from the very first day my wife and I contacted then Captain Hamilton he has worked tirelessly to help us get a law passed which keeps child predators away from children in Fullerton. He always followed through on everything he said he would accomplish. He always behaved in a very professional, gentlemanly manner.

We did not know Captain Hamilton previously and we certainly do not have any influence within City Hall nor the Police Department.

How many people do any of you know that will keep their word over a 7 month period and always outperform and overdeliver on their promises?

If your honest the answer is very, very few!

The name calling is just so wrong!

The only people that are looking very bad right now are those who have participated on this blog today putting down a good man!

    Shame on you!

    I

    1. Barry, people have a right to their opinions. If everybody had the same opinion then why would we need a blog to post on. Why would we need city hall, police and government?

    2. I contacted then Captain Hamilton he has worked tirelessly to help us get a law passed which keeps child predators away from children in Fullerton.

That is rather vague statement. Was this state or local law and what exactly did it do to keep predators away from children …in Fullerton?

      1. Tuco reply to #20:
Hamilton may be a good man to you because he kept the promises he made to you. Very nice. But lets look at the real problems in Fullerton. A number (around 10%) of FPD are on various types of costly leaves of absence due to malfeasance while on duty or else they would be on active duty. FPD costs about 30 to 35% more to run than comparable size or larger police forces on a per capita basis. The entire system of which he was acting chief has a high degree of corruption especially the group that reports to him as Captain.
I am certain Hamilton worked hard while he was acting chief, but he also worked hard at coverups and bowing to the all powerful FPD union. That is why you should not be calling members of this blog misguided putting down a good man. You see, there are TWO sides to every story!

    3. Not only am I proud of my participation on this fine “blog” and having the honor to express my American right of free speech and opinion Im going to add something else, so get out your fainting couch.

I wouldn’t trust Hamilton or any of the goons affliated with FPD-they have proved to be sneaky and liars who cover for each other
and furthermore, you don’t know what is beinng said about you or anything you’ve discussed after they hang up the phone with you.

    4. Barry, first of all, that law has been passed all through Orange County. It is a good law, but Hamilton wasn’t the brains behind the law-it was Rauckauckas.

And you’re only noticing the name calling on this blog now?

    5. No, shame on you. Fullerton IS under attack by the crooked cops, the cover-up artists, and the council that looks the other way. If you ever plan on running for office again you can count on my vote. For Somebody else.

    6. Barry this is a man that still wont give me rincons picture…..so shame on him-lucky you have had a positive interactions with Kevin,I have as well- but not all agree- Im still miffed over the Rincon thing…so truely how safe are our streets…I think maybe you should run for city council….dont agree with many of your posts but your consistent.

  13. Barry that is all the ffffers do is put people down to make them selves feel better! That’s what happens when you live in your moms basement!

  14. For Anonymous:

Presentation Given By Barry Levinson To The Fullerton City Council On September 21, 2010 In Support Of Ordinance No. 3149 –
    Sex Offender/Pedophile Residency Restriction Law

Seven months ago my wife & I were shocked to learn that a 4-time convicted sex offender/pedophile could move next door to our family in direct violation of Jessica’s Law. And yet, the police could do nothing about it because this law that was written to protect our most vulnerable citizens, our children, had no penalty attached to it.

We were told many times that we were up against daunting hurdles, but we persevered with the conviction that as parents we must do everything we can to right this wrong. It has been a frustrating undertaking to get to where we are today. But we are proud that we have accomplished 3 important goals.

First: to get the California Dept. of Corrections to acknowledge Laguna Lake Park as a “park”.

Second: to cut this particular pedophile’s visitation hours to his house while on parole from 126 hrs/wk to 12 hrs/wk.

Third: to lead our city to take a vital stance against those predators who are a threat to our children, by the passage of this ordinance tonight which would prevent them from living within 2000 ft. of a park, school or day care center.

Tonight, I implore each and every council member to vote for the passage of Ordinance #3149. If, as a society, and indeed as a city, we do not have laws in place that protect those citizens who cannot protect themselves, our children, then how can we say with a straight face that we truly value our kids.

  15. For Propagandizer!

Please let me clarify the facts for you.

The County of Orange law was passed many months after we got it passed in Fullerton with the full cooperation of then Captain Hamilton. He and the city attorney’s office worked jointly to get the most effective law passed here in Fullerton.

Since that time not only has the County of Orange acted but so has many other communities within Orange County.

Fullerton was one of the 1st cities to act in California and I believe was the very first city to act in Orange County.

My wife and I worked very hard to get this accomplished and we made it our number one priority during that period.

By the way I spoke on behalf of the Ordinance passed by the County several months after passage of our Fullerton Ordinance 3149.

  16. I had thought this whole time this guy was a mute, so thats why everyone was taking it kinda easy on him. BUT IT SPEAKS!!!!!!!!!!!

My experience with Hamilton was just the opposite of yours so keep your shame to yourself in telling others what they can and can’t say.

  18. barry levinson:

You know damned good and well that the overwhelming majority of children who are assaulted and molested have had this happen to them at the hands of relatives, friends, and acquaintances, rather than the mythical trench coat wearing perverts in parks.

These warm and fuzzy, feel good ordinances are politically motivated and nothing more, and you know it.

  19. Don’t even bother with some feeble attenpt at arguing the point, “Barry”. I can back up my claim with statistics, studies and proof.

  20. Its typical in hot button issues to pass them to get votes and support but put NO TEETH into the law which renders it moot. According to the Megans Law data base, Fullerton has a higher percentage of pervs than smaller cities in Orange County. Any ideas as to why there are so many in Fullerton? Its possible due to placing by the County or the State of offenders. So I give credit to anyone who is trying to reduce the density of offenders in Fullerton. Go out and look at the data base and you will be shocked by the number of offenders who neglect to provide probation officers with their new address. This is blatantly illegal and is a criminal offense whereby their probation should be pulled and they return to prison. Obviously it is not being properly supervised and enforced.

  21. There is zero, I repeat zero evidence that the entire Fullerton Police Department is corrupt. Some of the people on this blog have such hatred for police in general they will go after anybody in the department for no reason at all.

I think it’s completely reasonable to point out the faults of the police here, but it needs to be tempered with the GOOD that is done by the GOOD officers of the department. The morale is very bad at the Fullerton PD right now. An insider recently told me that numerous officers are considering employment with other cities. Who’s going to replace them? Who would want to work for Fullerton PD when certain residents – and commenters on this blog – automatically will hate them because of their career choice? The longer people continue with unsubstantiated trash talk, the worse this problem becomes.

Eventually it will get so bad, the only people willing to work for Fullerton PD are clones of Cicinelli and Ramos.

    Do you really want that?

    1. Vernon, your statement rests upon the definition of “corrupt.”

How can so many instances of law-breaking by members of the FPD have occurred without the knowledge and silent acquiescence of the whole crowd. I am not being flip here. We’ve identified around twenty cops with direct knowledge or participation in crimes/coverups. So what was Hughes doing? What was Hamilton doing? What were the rest of the 120 sworn cops doing?

That’s right, going along – for their FPOA brethren, their early retirement and their six-figure pensions.

Is that a form of corruption? You tell me.

      1. What exactly are the 120 other cops supposed to do, if they have no authority to change anything, impose discipline, or terminate the employment of corrupt individuals?

The only people you can blame are the ones at the top for allowing the culture of silence to exist. I think it’s probable that many people were afraid to speak up and do anything about it. Blow the cover on a corrupt cop to their superiors and all of a sudden your own life is in grave danger, and your radio calls for help go unanswered. It’s a double-edged sword.

        1. Sucks, but the six figure pension lards have ruined it for everyone. They are cashing enormous fraudulent pension checks while the remaining good officers suffer the aftermath. Not sure what I would do if I was one of those good officers who had no choice but to keep his mouth shut to keep a job. Speak up and your cut off by Barry and the Union boobs. I would probably quit if I worked at FPD.

        2. Actually, they could leak stuff to the media, the Grand Jury, or the Feds.

You see, Vernon the “I’m powerless” routine is just an excuse to avoid doing anything while maintaining the veneer of integrity. I’m a good cop, see?

FULLERTON, Calif.—The death of a mentally ill homeless man after a confrontation with police officers has resulted in significant changes to police policies in Fullerton, according to the acting chief.

    http://www.mercurynews.com/news/ci_19596316

    1. Jane, I love the last paragraph in this article..

“Dirty, morally-corrupt cops in Republican-dominated Orange County have long believed they are immune from public accountability for the crimes they commit.”

  23. Chris thompson…chief of police….hahaha He will be divorced soon….and….most cops are divorced….sure why not…

  24. My agenda is to see Kelly gets justice he deserves and to hold an out of control pd accountable. Capt. Hughes was in charge the night of kellys death…ordered rewrite of reports that night. The guy is not to be trusted!
Just on ktla news Fpd is making changes to training on how to deal with homeless and develop a policy leaving dars on. Sounds like guilt to moi!!!!

  25. Kelly Thomas was under attack and he died. For all of you who claim to be under attack because words are not sent in favor of your actions…

  26. Erin :I believe this blog will be getting a call from internal affairs very soon.. Most likely asking for IP addresses on certain trolls and their family who post on here..

Feedom of speech..just like you. You dont own this blog.

    1. I never said I owned this blog Anonymous, but, when information that only the police would know about me or my family is posted on here then its a totally different matter..

      1. Erin I really wish I could contact your privately about this.

My best advice is don’t handle this locally. Contact the State Attorney General’s office and FBI immediately.

The individual involved is likely using state resources (DMV records, Cal-Photo, etc) and federal resources (NCIS) to access and post personal information about you.

The FBI and USDOJ does not take any abuse of the NCIS database lightly, same goes for the state.

You may also want to contact a lawyer or get assistance from your local legal aid foundation if you cannot afford legal help.

Keep in mind all queries are logged by multiple agencies so it wouldn’t be difficult for an investigator to find out who was using police/law enforcement resources to run a background check into you or your family.

  27. Levi west :I think Chris Thompson would make a great chief of police. Does the chief of police have to be a cop?

That’s hilarious..lol!! Oh yeah anyone off the street can just walk in and be a Chief of Police….Hahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!! Try it!

    1. Oh yeah anyone off the street can just walk in and be a Chief of Police….

That is actually quite accurate (if the city or town thinks they meet the qualifications). Police chiefs are hired. County Sheriffs are elected.

    2. Might as well. Look at the jerk-offs you’ve gotten lately. Fullerton has had three chiefies in 4 months! Hahahahahahahahaha!

  28. You people sicken me- If the cops did wrong prosecute them and let them be judged.. (Oh you idiots that is happening) But where was Kells army when he was the bum they didnt want around? You are a bunch people that have jumped on the band wagon….You talk of free speech yet trash the very men and women that put their asses on the line to protect it….

Why dont you put your ass on the line and deal with the citizenry………..Accountability is always good just keep it real………..

    1. If the cops did wrong prosecute them and let them be judged..

They did, they are and they will be. The trial date is March 28, 2012.
