Bomb Threat

The Hunt Branch of the Fullerton Library was quietly evacuated yesterday afternoon as staff told patrons they “weren’t allowed to say” why the library was suddenly closing. Whispers of a bomb threat were heard on the way towards the exit.

The homeless clean up team.

Cops and a city crew were still on the scene today, apparently cleaning out a small homeless encampment on the library grounds. A librarian confirmed that there was in fact some sort of bomb threat that caused the library to close yesterday. For some reason the library’s computer system was offline, too.

Is any of this related to anything? Who knows.

  1. A lovely crowd down by the Hunt Branch, for sure. Especially since the cold-weather shelter at the armory opened.

I doubt any of them are actually capable of making a bomb.

  2. Where will the homeless go?

    Travis,
Is there truth to the rumor the new wing of the Library going to be called “Bankhead Hall” and it will feature books on Dinosaurs Still Help, Raiding Cal Pers for Dummies, and Life after Recall: You Can Win again.

  3. WOW! Why someone would want to bomb a small little library that my GPS can’t get to is amazing to me. Good thing I didn’t go to the dog park which is right there in the same lot.

  4. It was joe with a suicide vest that didn’t go off because he didn’t wire it properly. He was upset about staff pay.

  5. The busses from other cities drop off the homeless at the shelter. But then never return to pick them up.So they go into our city during the daytime.I live around the corner from the armory and see the homeless folks make verble attacks at our citizens excersizing especially the women.the other cities need to come back and take them back to there own cities not drthemin our lap

  6. West is right! I think try should take down the fences at the dog park and see what happens. Maybe Joe could capture it on video and sell it, bum fights extreme: who let the dogs out!?!
